The East Ireland / County Dublin region

The East is one of the most varied regions on the island of Ireland, stretching from cosmopolitan cities to mesmerizing rural scenery.

NATIONAL MUSEUM OF IRELAND - Archaeology and History, Kildare Street, Dublin 2, Ireland.
Built in the 1880s, this holds exhibitions such as the Viking Exhibition, the War of Independence Exhibition, many priceless items are on display, and is well worth a visit.

SAN PATRICK CATHEDRAL - Built in 1220 is the most popular tourist attraction in Ireland

DUBLIN CASTLE - See the Old Walls of Dublin, State Apartments, and the treasury.

GUINNESS STOREHOUSE - to many dubliners it is the soul of Ireland: who around the world does not know the Guinness beer? Do not miss a visit to the place where the party begins and do not forget to take the lift up to the gravity bar, Ireland's highest bar.

KILMAINHAM JAIL - built in 1792 it is Ireland most famous/infamous prison. This huge complex held through the years many Nationalists and Republicans. The building, closed down in 1924, gives an inspiring insight of Irish history. The movie "In the name of the father", with Daniel Day Lewis, was set there.

The Dublin / Dublin 1 area

Like many capital cities, Dublin has most of the world's top shops and brand names. Also Dublin as a city is so compact, all of these shops are a short walk from each other. If from the apartment you turn the corner in Liffey Street, after 3 minutes walking you'll reach the vibrant Jervis Streets with its selection of high street brands and Shopping Centers: Zara, HMV, Debenhams, Arnotts, Jervis Shopping Center and Ilac Shopping Center among many.

The apartment overlooks the HALF PENNY BRIDGE, a beautiful old Georgian pedestrian bridge dating to the 18th century. It arches over the River Liffey which divides the city into its northern and southern halves. The Ha' Penny Bridge gets its name from the original toll for crossing it, which was a half penny in the old English currency; the toll has since been abolished.

  • This apartment is really first rate. Very central - ideal when you take the bus from the airport you just get off at O'connell street stop and walk in the same direction the bus is pointing to the street that run parallel to the river, turn right on that street, it is Bachelors Walk, and go along to the Ha'penny bridge. The apartment itself is spacious, clean and well appointed. I would recommend this to everyone, I travel all over and this place is amazing - I will be back! Thank you Giuseppe.

  • If you want to be in the heart of Dublin this is the apartment is the place for you.. Great pubs and shopping are just out your front door. Really nice for 2 people but will work for 4. The bathroom is beautiful but the shower is very small. The master bed was very comfortable. A well equipped kitchen with a washer is terrific for a travelling tourist.

  • Great apartment with all the facilities you could possibly need and a lovely large central courtyard for soaking up the sun. The location could not have been better and gave easy access to everything on the south and north of the LIffey. Thankyou!

  • We stayed for three nights, Mummy and three children and liked the apartement! Clean and comfortable, fully equipped kitchen, TV and Wifi, everything worked. The children even said that the shower was better than ours! Location great - right in the middle of bustling Dublin, that's why you can hear the citynoise a little bit at night.

  • We loved our stay in Dublin and this beautifully appointed apartment felt like home as soon as Giuseppe's friend Patrick welcomed us. The only thing you need to be aware of if staying in this vibrant central location overlooking the Ha'penny Bridge is that it's very noisy, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Revellers aplenty are out and about till the wee small hours. We overcame this by using earplugs and I always sleep with eye pads anyway.
Otherwise, what a wonderful time we had in Dublin. The central location meant excellent walking distances to key sites or if a bit older like us, you might prefer the Hop on, hop off. Overall excellent!! Many thanks. Maggie and David

  • Great location in the heart of Dublin. Doesn't get much better than this, you really can walk everywhere. Right at the Ha'penny bridge and just a short walk into Temple Bar. Nice apartment, Giuseppe was very easy to contact and prompt with replies.
