Large luxurious dual townhouse set in a very quiet cul-de-sac. Only 1/2 klm from Mudjimba beach. The bedroom is a very large room with a double bed, walk in wardrobe & ceiling fan. You have your own bathroom, with a spa bath, separate shower and own toilet.
I'm the only other person who lives in the house and I have my own ensuite upstairs. You are welcome to use the washing machine and use my condiments if here for a short stay. Always a large selection of tea available. You are welcome to use the kitchen and I'll make space in the fridge for you and in the cupboard for any groceries you may have. I have filtered water, a coffee machine, dishwasher and air conditioning in the main living area.
I don't have wireless installed yet, however I have a USB stick you can use and the local cafe near the beach is a great spot to hang out and they have wireless.
The beach is 1/2 klm away and there is a great cafe called the Loaded Lizard, a fish & chip shop, bakery, newsagent and an Indian restaurant. Approx 1/2 klm in the other direction is a big shopping centre with Coles supermarket, chemist, newsagent, delicatessen, post office and other shops.
This booking is for a single person or 2 people only. I do have a fold out couch in the lounge-room/kitchen area and am happy to negotiate a price for a 3rd person to stay. Need to take in things such as extra electricity, water & other commodities too. I've popped this in, as I recently had an enquiry for a 3rd person to stay and for some reason they thought they should be paying less because it was a week booking in peak season. Not sure why they would think it should be less for a 3rd adult to stay, so have decided to make this clear now, so as to avoid any un-necessary time wastage in emails.
There is a local bus service literally around the corner which will take you to the main centre, Maroochydore, south, which is about 15 minutes away and there is a bus depot there where you can get connecting buses. North is Coolum Beach and Noosa Beach, which you can get to easily by bus..
If you arrive by plane, there are hire cars at the airport & it's about a $10 cab ride to my place
I think what makes my place unique is that it is an extremely quiet neighbourhood and the apartment is large, open and airy.
I have a stock of brochures of things to do and see.
I ask that you don't bring people into the house and respect my home as it is yours. There may be times when I'm not here and will pre-arrange to leave keys out for you. There is always lots going on so will happily fill you in and if I'm heading off to something that you may like the sound of you are welcome to join in.
I'm not a smoker, so if you are please only smoke outside and be aware of smoke not coming inside the house. I'd also ask you to empty out your ashtray.
If you want to bring your dog, that could be ok, let's just have a chat about it first and I'd ask you to pick up their poo.
I have a double lock up garage, so you can park your car in the garage if you wish - just give me notice as being a woman, tidying up the garage is not a high priority! and at the end of the day, if that doesn't happen you can still park there & I'll park in the street.
I'm pretty easy going and you may or may not even see me whilst you are here as I'm usually off doing something or other. I will happily let you know of any local events & if I'm going somewhere that interests you, then you are most welcome to join me.
Clean, comfortable and spacious bedroom with private bathroom in a lovely modern unit with peaceful surrounds and a great outdoor setting. Pauline has a fun and straight forward personality and makes you feel at home. Highly recommended!
Pauline was a lovely host and her home was both comfortable and clean. She was also very accommodating and understanding when I arrived prior to our agreed time by mistake. The room is comfortable and spacious with a large private bathroom. I only stayed with Pauline for one night so our paths did not cross for more than 15 minutes but she seemed very helpful and relaxed. I would definitely stay with Pauline again if I were in the area.
Pauline was a wonderful host. We were able to do our own thing and enjoyed the times when our paths did cross. Location was great, peaceful and a very nice airy home. We felt very comfortable staying there. We look forward to returning next year.
We enjoyed our stay immensely – everything as described – spacious room, lots of privacy and lovely clean bathroom for our sole use. Pauline was a very welcoming and gracious host, and had lots of great tips about the local area. The beach near her place is just glorious.
Great place, nice clean and own bathroom, toilet etc
Quiet place no dramas on any level
Pauline was gracious enough to cook and share dinner one evening
lots of great chats and conversation .
Pauline is a colourful and interesting host
Im sure we will stay in touch xx
pauline warmly welcomed us to her quiet haven home which is in a lovely quiet setting. beautiful open layout and spotlessly clean. off road parking and well located for the beach, shops and cafe\restaurants.
Pauline has a great place in sleepy Mudjimba. If your looking for a quiet little beach side town this will suit you well.
The townhouse is spacious and comfortable, the room simple and airy.
Pauline is good to talk to and a great host.
We stayed 9 nights with Pauline and had a great time! Her home is 2 minute drive from beautiful Mudjimba beach as well as about a 3 minute drive to a grocery and a few restaurants.
The house was clean and open. Pauline made sure we had everything we needed and that all of the facilities such as the kitchen were open to us.
Pauline was a great host. She was wealth of local knowledge and very willing to share all she knew. She expressed to us that hosting was her primary responsibility and was sure to offer us a change of linen after the first week.
If your looking for a great place near the beach and fun conversation, Pauline's place is perfect!
Pauline has a lovely quiet home in a superb location on the Sunshine Coast. It is a great spot to also visit some of the more well known, but crowded destinations of Noosa and Mooloolaba.
The house is perfectly set up for guests with your own facilities downstairs whilst Pauline is upstairs, with shared kitchen. Pauline was a very considerate host, having her family visit over the Xmas period that I was there, yet I appeared to remain the higher priority.
I would recommend "Quiet Haven" as a location and Pauline as a host, and I am sure I will stay there again in the future when visiting the coast.
We enjoyed our stay with pauline she was a great host, very friendly and house very nice and clean. Majimba has a great beach and Pauline very helpful with suggestions on what to do around the area. Would definitley go back and stay with her again!
