  • We were planning a multiple generations trip to NYC to visit a childhood friend and her new baby. We needed a big, quiet, easily accessible apartment to accommodate my mom, myself, and my 7 month old. The Dragos' apartment truly is a west side gem. It is HUGE by manhattan standards, with two large bedrooms and a beautiful, light-filled living room/kitchen. As it faces the courtyard, there was virtually no street noise. Joe was so helpful in accommodating our late arrival and departure and borrowing a infant cot from a neighbor. We took many walks in Riverside park, right across the street, and took a 2 block stroll to Broadway for meals, grocery shopping, and the subway.

  • This was my first apartment rental in New York and I am glad I did it. Joe's place was perfect. As a location it is very close to 96th subway station which is on the express line to the downtown. Neighborhood was very quite which helped us to get good night sleep after getting so tired in the city. His place was lovely, decorated nicely and more importantly was very clean.

You will be lucky if you can get his place..I would definitely go back here again.

  • We recently enjoyed 8 days stay in Joe and Nancy's lovely apartment. It is in a great location, close to subway and walking distance to shops & park. Joe was there to meet us and gave us lots of helpful info regarding restaurants, supermarkets/delis. (recommend Gennaro's for wonderful Italian food (cash only). We also enjoyed the bagels Joe left for us. This apartment is large by NY standards, with comfortable sofa & arm chairs and a nice dining table to eat meals. The kitchen is very well equipped and it was great to have a washer/dryer. Both bedrooms were large, with very comfortable bed in main, however bed in 2nd bedroom was very hard. Joe & Nancy were also very flexible with checkin/out . Would highly recommend this apartment.

  • We were delighted with our apartment and the warm welcome we received from Joe and Nancy. Whilst it doesn't have views over Riverside Park, the morning sun was much appreciated. Excellent access to bus and subway transport. A lovely part of town. It was a good to have a washing machine.

  • We had a great stay here. The apartment is nice and spacious given it's NYC! The location is great, only a couple blocks walk from the subway and there is a park right across the road for some exercise. We were 3 girls so actually used the sofa bed as a 3rd bed, the bed in the 2nd bedroom is very hard but otherwise that was really our only complaint! Having a washing machine there was a big bonus as was the lift after a big day of shopping. Joe was great in getting us into the apartment and helping out with questions we had along the way. We would definitely stay there again if we came back!

  • We loved the location and the spaciousness of the apartment. Riverside Park is a delight and coming to this apartment after a day of sightseeing was a real treat.

We shopped at Westside Market which is a great place to shop for whatever food items you may need during your stay.

We hope to return some day!

  • We had a fantastic time at Joe and Nancy's. The apartment was spacious and clean. The location was absolutely the best, very close to the subway and just as close to Riverside park. We truly felt at home, and appreciated all the detail and care that went into the apartment. We didn't want to leave this great neighborhood!! Highly recommended.

  • Location: The best location for easy access to all sites. Close to subway lines 1,2, and 3 and bus M5. Easy commute downtown. Riverside Drive is leafy and serene. Delightful for walking, running and bicycling. Charming area. Real neighborhood with beautiful buildings.

Space: Great two bedroom. Quiet and comfortable. Wireless was seamless.

The Hosts: Thoughtful and quick to respond to any questions. Really could not do better than this experience.

  • Joe and Nancy are the sweetest couple in NYC. Their 2-bedroom apartment made our stay in NYC more enjoyable. The partment is fully furnished and located in great location a few steps from the park and the river. I would definately return.
