The Space

We have a nice room for rent in Palermo, 3 blocks away from Alto Palermo Mall ((website hidden).ar/)

The apartment is really confortable and big, we have 3 floors, in the first one are the kitchen, the living room, the dinning room, and other bedrooms. In the second one we have the laundry, and "your" bedroom with a private bathroom. And finally in the 3rd floor there is a very sunny terrace, with a "quincho" and a "parrilla" for making asados or pizzas.

The neighborhood is nice and quite, however is a block away from Santa Fe Av. where a lot of buses goes by and also the subway station is 2 blocks away.

The area is really safe, and 20 minutes away from Plaza Serrano, Plaza Armenia. A nice walk away from Recoleta, and all the night life in it.

The apartment has,
great natural light, (the terrace is 120m2)

  • Maria and Enrique (Agustin's parents) are wonderful caring hosts, we established a conversation weeks before my arrival and from the information I was able to make wise choices even before arriving in Buenos Aires. They have large lovely home in a safe neighbourhood of Palermo, a block away from the subway station and within walking distance of many attractions. I find my room clean and comfortable. Having only a small backpack, I was very happy that they can provide laundry service. I highly recommend this accommodation.

  • Nice comfortable room for 1. Bathroom next door. (shower temporarily upstairs). Elevator to apartment, spiral stairs to room, very well organized with labeled bins for my food, they had maps, and were extremely friendly, perfect location, wifi worked great, international plug adapters, bed comfortable but not the Hilton, I slept great, big closet, I paid their maid to do my laundry, no problems. I did have to get my own shampoo but I guess I could have just asked. For the price this place was amazing. She teaches art classes in a separate area. Felt very safe. Strong recommendation.

  • This is a great place to stay. Palermo is much better to live in than the centre, and the underground just next to the flat will anyway get you there easily. The hosts are super friendly and will give you all information that you need (including an underground, place where you can eat change money, etc.). Highly recommended!!

  • What a lovely welcome to Buenos Aires and Argentina! Maria and Enrique are the most wonderful hosts, so friendly and helpful about my stay and even afterwards when I went to Iguazu. The room comes with maps, loads of reading material on the city and a handy Subte card.

Everything is as specified in this home on the edge of Palermo and Recoleta, very conveniently located on the subway line. I would (and have already) recommend this place to anybody going to BA.

  • Agustin and his family were more than welcoming when I arrived! They're very kind people who generously provided me with guidebooks, maps, and a Subte card for the subway. They also provided me with useful information for when I arrived and departed from Buenos Aires. Overall I had a great experience.

  • Cavillioti family is great! I had a very pleasant time. Their place is really special, clean, and great location. I enjoyed hanging out with them, and especially the opportunity to speak about politics. :) Wonderful family!

Altamente recomendado!

  • I can't imagine there is a better place to stay in Buenos Aires than in the beautiful house of the Cavilliotti family. I met the parents and they are really helpfull and warm. It was absolutely a great experience!

  • Actually i stayed on my own in Buenos Aires and looked for a cozy and nice place where i would feel like home. Which this house completely turned out to be. I really loved the family: it's very sweet and welcoming and helpful and inclusive. I was invited to 2 dinners that I truly enjoyed. The good surprise was that my small room has a private bathroom and the house is very old, fool of antique stuff and with a beautiful mansarda. My best experince on Airbnb yet; highly recommended!

About
I'm Agustin, I was born and live in Buenos Aires. I have incomplete studies in Electronic Engineering, and I'm currently working in an action sports company call GoodPeople as a CTO. I really enjoy travelling and know different places, people, cultures and have the time to know the lifestyle of a city. In the past years I have been in USA, Europe, Brazil, and also in Argentina's countryside (Cordoba, Corrientes, Neuquen, etc.) In each place the thing I enojy the most is to know local people in order to know that lifestyle and not only the "tourist" point of view. I love Buenos Aires as well, and I'm more than happy to share an asado in the terrace.
