Stayed at Jordan's with my mother while my son was at BYU attending EFY church camp. Jordan's place is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The view at night is worth every penny!
The reservation was canceled 17 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
What a beautiful spot! Scenic views and creature comforts. Plush towels, and clean surfaces everywhere -- even inside the toaster oven (which fit an entire frozen pizza, btw). I drove a minute down the road and got to see the SuperMoon from altitude across lake Utah, woot! It was a shimmering silvery delight. It was a pleasure to stay here, and Jordan was a fantastic host willing to go the extra mile.
My biggest criticism would be the lack of indoor temperature control. But who wants to stay indoors? Lots of hiking trails close by to choose from, and I even shopped successfully at the local outlet mall. I would stay here again.
My sisters and I take an annual "Mother's Day Trip". WE chose Salt Lake City but we wanted a far away house. This had a HOT TUB so we decided on it. The view is spectacular! Jaw dropping! The price alone for the solitude, quiet, view was worth it. Jordan's place is clean clean clean! the beds were comfortable! It's in Draper which is conveniently located between SLC, Park City, Provo, all pretty much. amenities were enough. (no kitchen sink, no stove,) but so what! My oldest sister walks with a cane. From the driveway to the door is a grassy slope down. She was nervous but once she did it, NO problem. she was a pro. NO regular TV signal either but if you use netflix or hulu or? hook your tablet to the TV (we brought our own HDMI cable) we watched our own shows. wifi works great! our cell signals were in and out. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place.
My business partners and I travel to Salt Lake regularly, usually staying in hotels. This was a much more unique experience. Not only was the home itself beautiful, clean, and inviting, but the scenery was absolutely incredible. We were in meetings most of the day, but in the evenings we bonded talking around the fireplace or in the hot tub.
Equally as impressive was Jordan's professionalism, hospitality, and assistance. For example, on our first night we needed a car for our early morning meetings and 10 minutes after texting Jordan he had them delivered.
We highly recommend this luxury location!
My roommate and I stayed at Jordan's flat for a spring ski trip. Our first experience was disbelief as we continued to drive higher and higher into the hills until we finally arrived at the flat. Our second experience was also disbelief as we entered into our amazing residence for the week! We couldn't believe we had stumbled upon such a great find! Everything about the flat was phenomenal and accurate to what had been described by Jordan. The hot tub was very easy to operate and overlooked breath taking scenery day and night. It was about a 30 minute drive to Snowbird and 45 minute drive to Brighton/Solitude with light traffic. Although there is no kitchen sink, we were easily able to make do with the bathroom sink. Air hockey, TV, Wii, Netflix, stereo, fireplace, and kitchen appliances all worked great and without issue. Overall, we were incredible pleased with the location!
Jordan was also great to work with as far as hosts go. This was our first time using the site and Jordan made the experience easy and commendable! You can tell he takes pride in his flat and wants your stay in Utah to be as enjoyable as possible!
Will definitely check availability for next ski trip to Utah!
Exceptional bargain. This was my first airbnb experience, so I was a little apprehensive, but everything exceeded my expectations. Jordan is no slacker. The place was spotless.
Huge new apartment, private entrance, awesome view, hot tub, and rental vehicle. I would definitely not hesitate to go there again.
Three friends and I stayed at Jordan's place for about a week in late March to ski at Alta/Snowbird. His place is super. Beds are v comfortable (and fresh linens, towels, blankets in abundance, plus electric blankets [tho we never needed to use], etc.). Nice warm gas fireplace in living room, for when it got slightly chilly. Very roomy, comfortable, big area to hang out in, with Netflix, Wii, Air Hockey table. Great unparalled view of the city (saw some amazing sunsets!)! 35 minute easy drive to Alta/Snowbird.
Jordan was very hospitable and friendly-- a real pleasure. Sink in kitchen area would have been great, but we managed fine. Jordan kindly brought over smoker and we made some great ribs we got real cheap at Costco.
Nothing really con here to say.
This is a terrific deal and Jordan is a great host. Thank you! This was a big part of what made our trip really a great time in Utah!
(btw, downtown SLC are some real nice places for food if you want to get away from the chains: Copper Onion, Ekamai Thai, Squatters, etc.).
This must rate as one of the best bookings I ever made . This is a wonderful 2 bedroom unit with some of the bet views of the Valley you can get . We stayed 5 days unfortunately were out during the day and early evenings . Jordan were very friendly and helpful even leaving a welcome message in our native language on the fridge ! I am afraid if I say any more the place will be booked up and I cannot go again !!
Overall we had a good stay, and the apartment was very nice! Although Jordan was out of town, he was always accessible via text or phone. The drive to Alta is about 40 minutes with realistic traffic, and the house is pretty out of the way from most attractions. Which is great if you want to enjoy some peace in a nice apartment, but for a ski trip it might not be the most convenient location. Except for a few details that could have been thought of, we had a good stay, much nicer than staying in a hotel!
