The SW Harrison St. condo is beautiful, well appointed and very clean. The building is safe and secure and the 14th floor view is gorgeous. We loved the location. It is close to downtown, the university and the art museum. The bus stop is right outside the door making it easy for a ride uptown to Powell's. The river is close by and makes for a great walk even in the rain. We also found a couple of excellent vegan-friendly restaurants near by.
Richard was a wonderful host and very accessible. He made arrival and departure easy and was available for any questions we had. I would recommend this condo for a stay in Portland. We hope to return soon for a longer stay.
Thank you, Richard and Julie, for a great stay in Portland.
Richard's and Julie's condo really made our trip to Portland really comfortable with real luxury. The condo has incredible views, super clean, all amenities were available, the bed was comfortable and the place in itself is very private. The whole weekend that we visited it rained all three days so we stayed in for a bit in the mornings and enjoyed our views of the city and the river. There's also parking if you're renting a car.
We definitely would stay here again!
This place was wonderful. The owners were very helpful and made check in a breeze. Ideal location and gorgeous view leave me wanting to stay here again in the future!
Nice, comfortable condo with good views. In the quieter part of downtown, 20 mins walk or so from the action, but close to East Portland. Due to snow (rare in Portland, apparently), Rich was unable to make it to the condo on our check-in day, meaning we had to wash the towels and sheets. And the bathroom was a little dirty. But he refunded the cleaning fee. It was unfortunate, but understandable given the circumstances (apparently Portland doesn't know what to do when there's snow on the ground...). But ultimately, it didn't affect us too much. So overall, the condo provided a good base - a well equipped kitchen was good for saving a bit of $ and eating in for a night. Its a really nice space.
I enjoyed my stay at the condo for three nights. The place was a good size for two people, and best of all it was spotless. There wasn't much space to move around in the bathroom, but it was immaculate. The living room is spacious, and cable tv and wifi was available. The pictures shown for the listing is exactly what you get. The kitchen was nicely stocked with all the necessities.
The location is very convenient because there is a streetcar station right across the street, which gives you easy access to downtown and many other neighborhoods in Portland. There is also an underground garage if you have a rental car.
Richard gave very clear instructions on how to get the key to enter the condo. He was very flexible on arrival times. Communication was easy and very clear, and he was easily accessible through phone for any questions.
I would recommend this place for a trip to Portland, and I would book this condo again for future trips.
Great location, close to everything and a great view!
We came to Portland from Austin for my 40th birthday and had an absolutely amazing time. Richard was there to meet us and give us the key plus give us some yummy information about the restaurants in the area. We will be definitely be staying there again. Oh and the Condo was beautiful!!
Had a short trip to Portland and stayed at Richard's condo. Property was immaculate and exactly as displayed. The view from the balcony was both breathtaking and inspiring. If I had one suggestion it would be to have a clock / clock alarm in the bedroom. It wasn't a huge inconvenience because I used my phone but it would be nice. Thanks!
For us, this is a 5 out of 5.... great view, comfortable, clean, quiet lodging, convenient location/parking/access to public transit, and what a view! We'll be back!
