Then wrap-up your day with an evening cocktail on our roof, before you head-off to dinner. If your passion is bird watching, our Island hosts a multitude of tropical species. If you like doing "nothing”, this is the perfect place to do so. If you forgot what stars in a lit-up sky look like, just come up on the roof or relax on the pier and be showered with blinking wonders from heaven. We are surrounded by natural jungle that assures privacy. Great restaurants and bars are within walking distance from home, friendly near-by Resorts do welcome you at their pools (providing, one will get a drink or a snack...) - and the Town center is just a short boat ride away, or is easily accessed by bikes, golf carts, or even on foot. We can help you arrange your trips with local guides and make reservations for your dining pleasure.
Blue Wave Villa is 2.5 miles north of San Pedro Town and is easily accessed by Water Taxi and regular taxi.

Most of the time we are able to pick up our guests from the dock or airport in our golf cart. We will help give you an overview of town and help you provision for your stay. If we are unable to pick you up, we can help arrange alternatives.

And - SHARE YOUR STORIES!
We had a wonderful visit at Blue Wave Villa where we felt like welcomed guests. Krystyna and Ed both are natural hosts who share their knowledge and delight of the island with their guests. You will be sharing their home; living as islanders do with a respect for water use that is a requirement for anyone living with a cistern. Their home is lovely, very clean, comfortable and open-hearted.
The location is also wonderful. Far enough from town but not so far that you can't walk or ride a bike. Good restaurants and other attractions are an easy walk. Ed likes to drive to town in their golf cart, so it's always easy to catch a ride if you need it.
We borrowed their two person kayak and paddled out to the reef twice to snorkel. Easily done and a nice alternative to tourist trips. If you don't want to do it yourself, Krystyna seems to know everyone on the island and can hook you up with excursions.
Our visit was thoroughly enjoyable; and we highly recommend Blue Wave Villa.
We arrived early on a Friday, were met in a timely manner, shown around town, ate a nice local lunch and proceeded to the property. Our hosts were prepared for our arrival and the property is beautiful. This property is a 10 to 15 minute cart trip from town but with bikes we found plenty to keep us occupied and fit close to the villa. Get a golf cart and bikes, it really frees you up on a moment's notice to enjoy your stay. We stayed in #2. A first floor room with a large patio. Some of the other rooms have kitchenettes but are smaller. There was no issue using the main kitchen. We were very happy to find hobie cats for rent just a short bike ride down the beach from Paul. 120$ for three hours to be used separately or together. We were able to rent the bikes 2 doors down from our villa, very convenient. The room itself is very comfortable with lots of storage in a large cabinet in the room. There is a small refrigerator in the room. The bathroom is good sized and everything functioned effectively. Remember its an island, short showers are greatly appreciated to help get through the dry season. The large dock is a great place to hit the water.
We opted for a larger diving outfit that had wetsuits at no extra charge, this is worth looking into if you get chilly when wet. We had very nice co-guests and one in particular went out with us on many occasions. Overall we would stay here again.
The one thing we would do differently is eat more in the smaller local restaurants. The few higher end restaurants we ate in were priced on the top end but the food was not as good and the service was only adequate.
Last note; reserve your golf cart in advance some people arrived and couldn't get one for days this will limit your ability to do things on the fly.
We simply miss you - terribly. Miss your Joy of living, great enthusiasm in everything you do, your kindness and absolutely wonderful personalities.
Hope, you will come back and give us another "shot" of your amazing energy - and friendship.
You will stay in our hearts forever! Krystyna with Ed
PS: ....could you send some pictures, please? hugs - K
Krystyna and Ed and their Blue Wave Villa is a wonderful place to relax and feel like you are at home living on San Pedro. The second floor has a spacious kitchen, living room and dining room and veranda style porch over looking the sea. Ed and Krystyna encourage guests "to use the whole house." We did!!
The house is about two miles from San Pedro so if you want to be in the middle of all that, don't stay here. If you want to relax and have some peace and quiet, this is the place. You can rent bikes next door to ride to town and Ed and Krystyna will take you in a few times when they are going or just to help out. If you want total independence, they will arrange for you to rent a golf cart which is very reasonable. They will also arrange all kinds of activities, from scuba diving to catamaran cruises that pick you up right at their dock. And they know all the best places in San Pedro to eat. We loved it!
Ellen, you and your Husband are such WONDERFUL couple!
Please forgive me for not leaving you a proper Review, but between little crazy time to get things done on time and a little "bug" that hit Ed, I simply run-out of options. If there is any other way to reconcile this "whoopsie" I hope, I'll find it. The whole world should know - there are Perfect People like You to have an opportunity to meet with and - especially, become friends with.
You will stay in our hearts forever - Krystyna with Ed
Krystyna and Ed have been our highlight while traveling in Belize.
Both welcomed us very warm with a big hug and made us feel home.
We stayed in Room #2, which is great. It's big, has a nice bathroom and everything was very clean!
Krystyna and Ed asked us to use the whole house incl. kitchen and the terrace with hammocks which offers a fabulous few to the sea.
The house is about 10/15 Mins away from the town. We enjoyed a quiet place to relax and had no problems getting into town by water taxi or with one of both.
Both helped us very caring in every situation and took us several times into town.
We will miss you guys! THANK YOU!
Blue wave villa is a beautiful home around 20min north of San Pedro via golf cart. The house is right on the beach and Ed and Krystina were more than welcoming of us into their home. They were very helpful when arranging tours or other information about San Pedro. If you are looking for Accomodation which is more integrated with the hosts this is ideal
for you. Thanks Ed and Krystina.
I've spend some at my Vacation in belize at Krystynas and Eds place and can fully recommend it. Both are very nice and kind folks an can provide a lot of information about the island. They did connect me with a local dive shop and i did plenty of dives there. The Room is huge and you have full access to the well equipped main kitchen. I would book the room anytime again.
My girlfriend and I stayed at Blue Wave Villa with Krystyna and Ed for a few days for a fishing trip. The villa is located at an ideal location on the island with beautiful views of the ocean.
The food in the area was excellent and Krystyna and Ed were very welcoming. Ed picked us up and dropped us off at the airport too.
I would recommend staying at Blue Wave Villa if you want a local family feel on a beautiful part of the island.

I am originally from Poland, where I was born and educated for 18 years in Classical Music at Academy of Music in Warsaw. I came to US in mid 70's, raised 3 children while building my first house, opened 2 eclectic cafés located in Chicago's Downtown, as Sound Engineering could not support my kids nor me, then moved to Michigan by the Michigan Lake with my youngest son, Ryan - and after another 6 years of cruel winters in MidWest - we moved to Belize to help manage a new house on the beach. I came back to US for Ryan's HS education and his career in swimming, but with his acceptance to College Of His Dreams I am coming back to La Isla Bonita. My passion is travel (MachuPicchu, my favorite!), Classical Music, meeting new friends, looking after my pets and the house and planting blooming wonders. I love cooking creatively (also known as "playing with food"), snuggling with a good book in the evening and reading every night until dawn. And - being happy in the place, where "No shoes, no shirt" - IS no problem. Literally.
Hope, you will love staying in a beautiful Villa Of Dreams.
