Had a great time with Krystna and Ed.... they are like family! Cozy environment with plenty of hospitality and love. Highly recommend!
Kevin, you truly are one of rare species: not only devilishly handsome, but also with an amazing head on your shoulders - and generosity of heart to the fault.
Please, stay in touch - and come back. I really miss you - and your brilliance!
Hugs - true hugs - a million - K
Couldn't have asked for more. Krystyna and Ed went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Kyrstyna knows everyone (if she doesn't, Ed does), and was able to arrange great deals or advice on everything to do during our stay
Memories of your visit with us still linger - and you will stay in my heart forever. Please come back one day, and soon...
...and also please let me know how did your further exploration of Belize go? I am dying to know which part you visited you did like best.... Belize is such an amazing little jewel, every corner offers different wonders, doesn't it?
Hugs from the heart - Krystyna
PS: did you make it to Tikal? Kisses (this time...) - K
Our first trip to Belize and how lucky to book part of that stay with Krystyna and Ed. Firstly, she provide 2 excellent tips via email, not to stay in Belize City and to stay at the Chaa Creek Lodge in western Belize. Both were spot on indicating how well Krystyna knows the country. We flew into Ambergris Caya and were greeted at the airport by Ed and golf cart which included a quick tour of San Pedro before heading to the house. The location was perfect for us being 2 miles north of town but near enough to several great restaurant/bars, Ak Bol and Palapa. Krystyna is filled with tips and loves to converse about options for all adventures. We loved the room, and the bird feeder was entertainment for hummers, orioles, etc. The view out the front is palm trees with the beautiful aqua marine ocean behind. Not a beach for swimming but for a spectacular view. They also have kayaks to use to paddle out the 1/2 mile to the reef's edge for snorkeling. Tips from Krystyna also led us to a bike rental just down the road which was our transport for the week's stay. What a relaxing stay and wonderful host. No breakfast with the B&B but options are near enough at your cost. We will return. Thanks Krystyna and Ed!
Beautiful home and Friendly hosts!
We had a lovely time! Thank you for sharing your " tips and tricks" for being in Belize! Great snorkeling trips suggested by Krystyna and Ed leave fond memories! Met wonderful people while on Island Time!
We had an excellant time mostly because Krystyna and Ed were more than gracious with their home. Their property is absolutly stunning! They had a great dock which we were able to kayak out to the reef from to go snorkel the reef. They were also a great source of information on the island and San Pedro. Thank you agin for a great stay.
We had a great time with Krystyna and Ed and loved staying at the Blue Wave Villa. Ed met us at the airport on arrival and golf carted us to the Villa. They provided us with great information and helped to set up a variety of adventures for us. The room was comfortable and clean and only a few steps from the beach. a great place to stay if you want to feel safe and get to know San Pedro and Ambergris Caye.
We highly recommend the Blue Wave Villa to anyone visiting Belize.
We had a wonderful visit at Blue Wave Villa where we felt like welcomed guests. Krystyna and Ed both are natural hosts who share their knowledge and delight of the island with their guests. You will be sharing their home; living as islanders do with a respect for water use that is a requirement for anyone living with a cistern. Their home is lovely, very clean, comfortable and open-hearted.
The location is also wonderful. Far enough from town but not so far that you can't walk or ride a bike. Good restaurants and other attractions are an easy walk. Ed likes to drive to town in their golf cart, so it's always easy to catch a ride if you need it.
We borrowed their two person kayak and paddled out to the reef twice to snorkel. Easily done and a nice alternative to tourist trips. If you don't want to do it yourself, Krystyna seems to know everyone on the island and can hook you up with excursions.
Our visit was thoroughly enjoyable; and we highly recommend Blue Wave Villa.

About the Host, Krystyna
I am originally from Poland, where I was born and educated for 18 years in Classical Music at Academy of Music in Warsaw. I came to US in mid 70's, raised 3 children while building my first house, opened 2 eclectic cafés located in Chicago's Downtown, as Sound Engineering could not support my kids nor me, then moved to Michigan by the Michigan Lake with my youngest son, Ryan - and after another 6 years of cruel winters in MidWest - we moved to Belize to help manage a new house on the beach. I came back to US for Ryan's HS education and his career in swimming, but with his acceptance to College Of His Dreams I am coming back to La Isla Bonita. My passion is travel (MachuPicchu, my favorite!), Classical Music, meeting new friends, looking after my pets and the house and planting blooming wonders. I love cooking creatively (also known as "playing with food"), snuggling with a good book in the evening and reading every night until dawn. And - being happy in the place, where "No shoes, no shirt" - IS no problem. Literally.
Hope, you will love staying in a beautiful Villa Of Dreams.
