About this listing
You'll have access to the entire flat. It's located at the end of a tree-planted alley. Calm neighborhood, but connected to lively areas of Paris. Metros line 7, 12, RER B (to airports), multiple buses.
3 large bedrooms, small kitchen, can sleep 6.
Located on the second floor of a small building, the apartment is approximately 55 squatre meters and has 3 rooms, one bathroom with bathtub and shower. The hall granting access to the three rooms is also the kitchen. We have a fridge, two electrical cooking plates, an oven and a laundry washing machine. There is also a table where three can sit to eat. Given the repartition of the space (large bedrooms, small common area), this apartment is ideal if you wish to have a place in Paris which is well connected with public transport and close to the younger and livelier neighborhoods. It is less adequate to spend an entire day indoors, and further away from the center.
It is however well connected to the 17th, 18th, 19th, 10th, 11th and 20th arrondissements (which include Montmartre, République, Belleville, Ourcq, Canal Saint-Martin), which are incontestably where you would like to go to experience Paris like parisians do, to get a drink, see an outdoor concert, go clubbing or just chill-out with some bread and cheese in a parc.
During your stay you'll have access to the entire flat, i.e. each of the three bedrooms, the kitchen and the bathroom.
Interaction with guests
I'll be available by phone and email during your entire stay to help you get around and feel at home. We can also give you tips on where to go out.
Aubervilliers is a district that is increasingly integrated in the "Grand Paris" metropolitan area project, initiated by the construction of numerous cultural venues in the North-East of Paris, like the Philarmonic at the Parc de la Villette. This neighborhood is ideal for young people coming to visit Paris, maybe perhaps returning. This is because of the multitude of cultural activities and events you can enjoy in the surroundings. The population of the borough is friendly, and contrary to preconceptions, there is no insecurity - we have never had any problems or incident since our arrival.
Aubervilliers is probably among the disctricts of the immediate suburbs that is best connected. There are two metro lines, Line 7 at Aubervilliers-Pantin-Quatre Chemins, giving quick access to Gare de l'Est, Gare du Nord, Chatelêt; and Line 12, going to Montmartre, Gare Saint Lazare etc. There are numerous bus lines to central Paris and other suburbs ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)). The RER B in La Courneuve is very close (10 minutes by bus), granting quick access to Charles de Gaulle airport.
You can smoke in the apartment, invite friends and do everything you deem necessary to feel comfortable. If you wish to bring an animal, please let us know beforehand.
