William's home was lovely. About a 15 minute walk to the downtown area. Clean room. William also gave us maps and good information about the area. Super helpful. You can possibly be sharing only one restroom with occupants of 2 other rooms. So you may have to wait to for the bathroom in the morning/evening.

The place is the perfect spot from which to stage a jaunt into the Killarney hills. Close to all the main attractions and the city centre, it is also spacious and quiet. William is very courteous and gave some excellent dining and leisure recommendations.

William was amazingly helpful and kind. He helped us map out several driving routes and hiking paths. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great! His place was well maintained and clean. He was very flexible and easy to work with! Highly recommend staying here!!

I ended up having to change plans the day of, and William was incredibly accommodating, communicative, and thoughtful. Although I didn't end up staying with him this time, I definitely will when I return to Ireland some day. Great guy!

The room and house was nice. Wifi would not work in our room so we had to go downstairs to use it. Bathroom is shared. Check in is not flexible.

Response from William:
It's generally recognised that the WiFi in Ireland is of poor quality compared to our European neighbours. I pay a premium price for WiFi which I provide to my guests for free. The WiFi in this room is weaker than the rest of the house. I inform all guests of this. It's possible to send and receive e-mails but for downloading etc it's quicker to do that downstairs. This room shares a bathroom with another room. That is on the first line of my listing. It's cleaned twice a day usually. Check in is usually between 5pm and 8pm but I invite all my guests to give me an ETA the day before and more often than not I can facilitate an earlier check in. Danielle availed of this and we arranged an earlier check in time of 2pm. She did however turn up unannounced at 11am but I allowed them to park the car, gave them the keys to the house and room which freed them up to visit the town/park for the day. I thought that was reasonably flexible.

I enjoy all sports and I'm lucky enough to have a job in that area. If you're here to hike/climb/cycle or drive I have a selection of ordnance survey maps which you can use to plan your routes. I've also hiked a number of routes locally so I can give some first hand knowledge.
