Incredible host! Went above and beyond! A wealth of information, a comfortable and welcoming place to stay and an incredible orientation to Costa Rica! I'd highly recommend this AirBnB and Highly recommend going on one of his tours as well! You won't regret it!!

Upon arriving in Liberia, George was gracious enough to pick me up and first took me to an authentic Costa Rican restaurant where I had red snapper! George's knowledge of his country's history, and the sweet hidden locations amongst the volcanic mountains made him an excellent tour guide. After a full day of hiking in the heat and bathing in the hot springs going back to George's was a welcome treat to the end of the day! Thanks George. You da man!

We did ask George to meet us at the airport since our flight came in late and we didn't want to take a taxi, and what a good choice that was to have our names on a sign with the nicest guy waiting to meet us after a long travel day. George's English is better than ours- seriously he is a fluent scholar . We love the place, it is hand crafted by George himself, and a really sweet sort of secluded spot at the end of a lane. He has lots of local flora in his yard which he is quite proud of and rightly so - including a royal palm and ylang ylang, plumeria and much more. There's a sweet viewing deck upstairs with a great night sky, we thought it was a very nice welcome to the country. Breakfast was fantastic lots of fresh local fruit and a typical Costa Rican gallo pinto with eggs and all the trimmings. There was a young couple staying in George's other room and it was a really fun breakfast table. But most beneficial of all was George's assistance in all things we were arranging. And the detailed responses of the necessities we expressed . . . well, he answered basically everything with an on-site personal tour. We are so happy to have stayed with George and become friends – we can't wait till the next time we can visit!

Host is kind but quick to share his conservative views on the world. Often condescending and tried to nickel and dime me after he messed up arrangements in a huge way. House was nice but again because of his own error I had to stay in a different room then I had booked and he had to take time when I arrived to get it ready. Then to make up for his mistake offered to drive me to the airport (typically charges more than a taxi for this trip ps) and then on the way to the airport asked If I would pay half! So rude and uncomfortable.

This was my second stay with George. He was again an excellent host. Very knowledgeable about his country and shares this freely. He is thoughtful, considerate, and friendly. His home is modern, well equipped, and comfortable. WiFi is reliable. The breakfast is delicious and is not to be missed.

Hello,

I have a bi-cultural family background ( USA, Costa Rica). I am a Self Taught Constructor, I love Landscape & Interior Design, Architecture, Green Building, Sustainability.

It is really great to share with you, all the nature wonders that are close-by.
I am located only 20 minutes drive from the Liberia International Airport ( LIR ) in a privileged location halfway between the Pacific endless beaches and the volcanoes & waterfalls on the Guanacaste mountain range.
I have a couple pets :

Kali ( the female tailless black cat), she is a Supreme Lounger and Huntress and Lily (super sweetie female dwarf bunny).

I enjoy to listen to music, laugh, dance, sing, eat tropical fruit, waterfalls, warm beaches and the small big details in life.

I like to surround myself with happy, trustworthy people with great energy.

Happy to help with any questions or suggestions to make your Costa Rica visit the utmost experience!

I'm very friendly and like to be sure my guests are comfortable and happy. I like my home to be a resting but uplifting space for others (as well as myself of course).

I look forward to visitors. Please let me know how I can make your stay a pleasant one!

I speak both English and Spanish Fluently*

Happy travels!
