Cute vintage home where you feel like you have stepped back in time. Great location, clean and comfortable bed. Baxter was really helpful when I had a schedule change and she was able to accommodate some extra days
Just absolutely amazing. The best air b n b I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. I'm lucky to say that I can call Baxter a friend after our week stay. ☺️The place is quirky and an ideal stay for anyone who loves music and vintage. The record player was a hit. The area is fantastic. Baxter has really could recommendations for food and entertainment too. If you want a true Austin Texas experience. Stay here ☺️
Thank you Baxter for a wonderful stay! I highly recommend staying at this lovely place. It is located in a quiet, centrally located neighborhood. The decor and details of the place are perfect! Everything was very clean and we felt at home. The record collection and piano were big hits! Baxter was incredibly thoughtful, welcoming, and gives amazing recommendations for where to go/eat/drink in Austin. Can't wait to come back!
Loved the house... comfortable beds, nice layout, well-equipped kitchen, and a turntable with great record selection. Loved the neighborhood... a quiet, lovely street, but just a block from South Congress and all the food, music, and shopping you could dream of. And Baxter was friendly and accommodating (she met us at the house even though we got in an hour late, and she put out a third bed based on what I had told her about our group, even though I forgot to ask for it!)
Our stay in Austin was amazing and Baxter's place had everything to do with it! The location is perfect. It's just steps away from all of the restaurants, bars and shops on South Congress and it's less than a 10 minute drive from all the bars in Downtown.
The place itself is so fun and you can really tell that each piece has its own story - it made the place that much more interesting. Baxter was an amazing host and I'm so happy we got to meet her and pup Mushroom!
Baxter's house was beautiful, quirky and so close to South Congress. We LOVED it! Reminded me of the time when I had a sweet little house on Elizabeth St. Such a fun area of town, and such a great place to spend your vacay!
The house was fantastic and well beyond anything I had hoped for! Though pretty tiny for a house, the layout made it feel huge, especially for only 2 people. Eclectic antiques were ever where but it was cozy and comfortable instead of feeling like a museum. Both beds were very comfortable and the sheets were super soft. I wish we had more time to spend in the house... or that I could just live there!
Baxter was wonderful about communication and flexibility. We never met but she was only a text away. She, the house that we didn't want to leave and the killer location on South Congress are what made our mini vacation. I strongly suggest checking out the shops in the area and wandering wherever looks interesting, because it is bound to be even cooler than you imagine. I absolutely recommend staying here and hope to do so again soon!
