A short stroll to music, food and shops. Down time can be spent with some records or playing a tune on the wurlitzer. The back yard is ready for hammock naps and a picnic!
Enjoy the 78704 area with your very own cozy little house. Have drinks with friends or relax in a hammock in the back yard before taking a walk to the plentiful South Austin food and drink offerings to be found in either direction. A short distance from the go to SOCO and S 1st finds, down town and Zilker park.
In the main bedroom you will have a lovely king bed! There is a Queen bed in the second bed room and a single bed can be put out in the sun room. An air mattress is available for larger groups.
Also I have a pack and play type crib for those traveling with children!
The living room can be host to your new record store purchases or lounging between activities. While you may want to sample all the coffee, tacos, and margaritas beyond the front yard, the kitchen is ready for some drink and snack making and is really a dream to those that enjoy cooking on vacation.
There is parking provided and if traveling with out a car, you're less than a block to bus # 10, so you're minutes to downtown for a single dollar, 2 dollars and you get unlimited transfers for the next 24 hrs!
Full House, kitchen fixings, record player, piano, television and bicycles!
You are minutes from down town and a block from South Congress or popular SOCO area. Lots of live music on any given night to walk to, amongst record stores, vintage boutiques and thrift shops and plenty of patio margarita happy hours in either direction.
South 1st neighborhood has a lot of the locals favorite shops, food trucks and cafe's and runs parallel to South Congress.
The area is accessible by walking, biking or public transit. There is also plenty of free parking and drive way if you have a car.
The bus is one block from the house and will take you to down town straight route. Easy!
Other Things to Note
I'm a moments notice away for any recommendations and helpful hints but otherwise you are free to enjoy the life of a local on your own.
