This stylish Campo de Fiori terrace apartment is located on the 5th floor with lift of an eighteenth century building, walking distance from Piazza Navona and Pantheon. The apartment was everything we expected and the balcony terrace was amazing! We never actually got to see Lorenzo, but the person we actually met was Honey and he was kind and courteous and even arranged and scheduled a taxi for us when we left Rome. The place is close to everything we wanted to go and we never needed a bus or taxi to take us anywhere. The restaurants near by were all excellent and the pizza and gelato was the best I have ever eaten. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants an awesome time in Rome. We will more then likely use Lorenzo's place when we go back to Rome again!!
Great apartment! Location was perfect, right next to via Governo Vecchio with nice winebars and restaurants. Also for sight seeing the location was perfect: everything within walking distance. The apartment itself was clean and nice. Very nice patio with a great view.
Organisation was perfect! Before our arrival Lorenzo answered all our questions. The driver who picked us up from the airport was on time and dropped us of in front of the apartment. Also the pick-up at the end of our stay went smoothly.
I would definitely recommend this apartment!
Excellent accommodation, location and service. Response from Lorenzo was prompt. Directions to reach the apartment were perfect and the key holder arrived at the apartment just after we did. The apartment was very clean, with ample space, well equipped and warm. The location is perfect for walking everywhere, as we did. There are good ristorantes at the end of the street. Mr Honey, organised a taxi to take us to the airport and he was on time and helpful. An excellent apartment that we would recommend to anyone and would return to if we are in Rome again.
The apartment was exactly as promised. We were delayed arriving in Rome and Mr Honey came very quickly to let us in and show us the apartment. The top floor apartment with balcony was in a perfect location to see all of the highlights of Rome on foot. We could not have asked for a more perfect apartment and location for the five of us. We thoroughly enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony with the beautiful view. We will definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to find it available. Lorenzo was an excellent communicator and the internet service was great.
We had a reservation for 3 nights, party of 4 adults.
We loved the apartment, we found it very comfortable with the two bathrooms (one is actually not really comfortable for tall people, but still a bathroom!), the size and the style of the apartment. The heating was very good, too which is important during winter time.
The location is more than excellent, the terrace is almost overlooking pza Navona.
However we encountered some negative aspects:
- first is that we never met Lorenzo. The property is managed by an agency, so upon the arrival we met 3 different people who showed us the apartment but did not really know the flat well, so they could not answer specific questions.
- it was raining excessively in the previous days so the living room had leaks in two different parts. Considering that the apartment is from the 18th century (I guess) it is quite normal actually, we encountered this problem on other occasions with other apartments in Rome, too.
- We had requested the agency that they would store our luggage on the last day since we had an evening flight. The answer was negative, however I called the agency the day before and they were very kind letting us to leave the suitcases in a corner of the entrance area. However when we returned back to the apartment a few hours earlier than the agreed pick-up time, an unknown lady who was there to clean the apartment started to shout at us saying "who are you, go away, this is not your home" - well, that is not a nice experience at all.
We had a great stay overall. Location of the apartment is wonderful, convenient to Piazza Navonna and Campo de Fiori. The apartment itself is a bit quirky but quite comfortable. Kitchen is pretty bare-bones, so would not necessarily recommend if you are planning to do a ton of cooking. Terrace is definitely the highlight of the apartment: comfortable seating, beautiful views, lovely flowers. Rental experience was totally smooth but would have appreciated if the apartment were stocked with basics like hand soap when we arrived. Was a drag to have to go hunting for a store that sold essentials right after we arrived.
The apartment was lovely, and centrally located near everything we wanted to see. At our request, Lorenzo hired a driver to pick us up at Ciampino Airport. The driver was phenominal! He gave us a quick auto-tour of Rome, and provided great recommendations for restaurants, gelatorias, places to go where the locals went...costs were lower, food was fresher. This same driver picked us up on our return trip, and showed us a few additional sites on the way out. Wonderful experience!
The apartment had a wonderful view of the domes over Piazza Navona, and was located about half a block from the square. It fit four people very comfortably, and having two bathrooms was perfect.
The apartment was really good !
The exceptional terrace made us spend an unforgettable stay :)
Relations were cordial despite a bit of a wait at the feet of the apartment on the day of our arrival...
