The TOWN LAKE HOME is a cozy Spanish-style house, surrounded by a beautiful tree-filled lot, including 2 protected pecan trees. If you are here for business, meditation, or fun, our house has the perfect vibe.
Conveniently located in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, it is just 5 minutes away from the historic, entertainment and business district, the TOWN LAKE HOME offers easy access to festivals, activities and businesses. East Austin, our neighborhood, has just ranked at number 7 on Forbes’ Hippest Hipster Neighborhood of America list.
AMENITIES: the TOWN LAKE HOME is well-appointed and bathed with soothing natural light. Many of the windows have views of the trees and all are dressed with shades to provide your preferred level of darkness. Newly renovated, modernly furnished, and cleaned to the utmost detail, it comfortably sleeps 5 people.
Living room is embraced by an inviting suede sectional couch and a HDTV with cable.
Dining room with decorative fireplace seats 6 in a beautiful black and cherry wooden table. Mats, tablecloth, cloth napkins, glassware, both porcelain and non-breakable tableware, are provided for your formal or informal dinning experience.
The kitchen is fully equipped for your convenience. It has a gas stove, microwave, fridge, blender, electric beater, toaster, coffee grinder, coffee and espresso machines, tea kettle, chef knives, Rachel Ray pots and pans, bake ware, preparing utensils, serving utensils and bowls. Samples of organic spices, organic extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, caf and decaf organic coffee beans and tea bags, sugar and sweetener are provided. Dish towels, drying rack, drying mat, paper towels and dish soap are included.
Both bedrooms have king size beds with ergonomic mattresses, luxurious sheets – 600 count Egyptian cotton – and many pillows. Both bedroom have HDTV/cable and master bedroom has surrounding sound.
Laundry: The washer and drier are located in the kitchen with perfume and dye free detergent available.
Study: The relaxing euro lounger in the study provides an excellent reading nook as well as it lays flat to a full size bed. In addition, the study is furnished with a desk, an ergonomic chair, a flat computer screen and an ergonomic keyboard that you can connect to your laptop. A printer/fax machine is available and some printer paper is provided, along with a phone through which you can make free local and long distance calls. With high speed WiFi, you can easily work in this stress-free environment.
Bathroom: Plush soft towels, basic toiletries (small samples of soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and toilet paper), first aid kit and hair dryer accompany our cute and sanitized bathroom.
Child friendly equipment is provided upon request at registration including an adorable square Graco pack and play with 100% cotton flannel fitted sheet, sleek Boon high chair with 5 point harness, and sanitized toys. Child plate settings and silverware are also included.
Handicap accessibility: Typically, Spanish style homes have one floor but asymmetrical level plans, creating one or two steps in between some of the quarters. Keep that in mind if you are bringing small children or mobility-challenged guests.
Outdoor space and Parking: A wood pellet grill and an inviting patio dinning set provides the perfect opportunity for some Texas style BBQ or just some relaxation under the trees. Our lot is gated and you may park inside or on the street right in front of our property.
NEIGHBORHOOD: Enjoy Lady Bird Lake, formally known as Town Lake, just 2 blocks away from the house for a picnic, stroll, run, bike ride or fishing in its lush 14 miles trail. This trail has many different parks such as the Festival Beach Park, Zilker Park, Barton Springs Pool and Auditorium Shores to name a few. It also has access to other venues such as Fiesta Gardens, the Long Center for the Performing Arts, The Zilker Botanical Garden, The Umlauf Sculpture Garden and the Austin Nature Center. Live outdoor music concerts are abundant and this area, from classical to blues and everything in between.
Lady Bird Lake and its surroundings host a variety of festivals such as ACL, SXSW, Bat, Kite, Bob Marlon, Celtic, Pecan Street festivals and many more.
Shopping: With local groceries stores, farmer’s market, health food store such as Whole Foods just minutes away, you could very well take advantage of our well-equipped kitchen. If you are looking to enhance your wardrobe, just minutes away is the 2nd Street District, where Texas warmth meets Austin cool. Within 7-15 minutes away there are many shopping centers and malls such as Barton Creek Square Mall and The Domain, featuring (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) square feet of upscale and mainstream retail. For impressive savings and great variety, the San Marcos Premium Outlet, hosting 140 stores, is 40 minutes away.
Eateries: Walk 5 blocks to Mr. Natural, a natural foods restaurant (gluten free and vegetarian), bakery, juice bar and health food store. Walk 6 blocks to Las Cazuelas, an authentic Mexican restaurant with the best Al Pastor Tacos and Torta Milanesa in town. Walk a few more blocks to Cenote coffee shop, just voted the “best coffee in Austin”. Within a mile ride away, you have a great variety of cuisines to choose from: Brazilian, Colombian, French, Italian, BBQ, American, Asian and more. Oh, and did I mentioned the many food trailers?
Nightlife: The TOWN LAKE HOME is a hop away from all that Austin has to offer for your nightlife. From the historic 6th street, the new upcoming Rainey street, the upscale Warehouse district, to our own East Austin neighborhood nightlife, you will find bars, dance clubs, comedy clubs and live theaters to satisfy any taste. And, of course, as Austin is the “live music capital of world,” there is plenty of live music!
RESTRICTIONS: In consideration of all guests and our neighbors: NO PETS, absolutely NO SMOKING anywhere in our property (inside or outside), or excessively loud parties are allowed. A contract agreeing to pay for smoke, party damage, or seriously careless damage is required. If more than 5 people will be in your party, please inform us of the number ahead of time. NO gatherings of large number of people will be allowed-this is our home, not a party venue – we respect our home and neighbors and expect our guests to do the same. Children may not be left unsupervised. Minimum rental age of 25 is required.
The TOWN LAKE HOME is truly the perfect getaway for families, honeymooners, event goers, and business travelers. Come enjoy our wonderful home!

We are legally licensed by the City of Austin to operate as a Short Term Rental property. Operating License Number: OL (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)
*Must be at least 25y/o to rent
*For stays of 3 weeks or longer, each guest must sign a rental agreement upon booking.
*For long term stays, housekeeper will come in every 2-3 weeks and spend 2-3 hours on cleaning (fee included in rental). Guests may
not refuse this service.
*ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING anywhere in the property, inside OR outside.
*NO PETS of any kind.
*No loud noise or parties.
*Children may not be left unsupervised
*No substance abuse or drugs.
*Only the number of people written in your contract may sleep in our home.
*Interior furniture is not allowed to be taken outside.
*No candles inside or outside.
*Parking on the street is restricted to the front of our house. You may also park in our gated driveway.
*Towels and linens are not to be taken outside the house or used as cleaning rags.
*Leave all used towels in the white hamper in the hallway.
*Start a load of laundry (towels) before leaving.
*Wash all dishes and put them away before leaving.
*Take all garbage to trash bin by the shed before leaving.
*Follow trash and recycle collection calendar, and put bins by the curb when appropriate.
*Check-in and check-out times are strictly reinforced unless you have written permission from the owner to modify it.
*If you need someone to come out to the house for any reason, we include one complimentary service call, and after that there is an extra $50 charge for service calls to be paid upon arrival.
*Homeowner will access the outside shed on a regular basis without notice to guests.
*Violation of city ordinances, Austin APD property visitations based on excessively noisy guests or other problems, breaking of house rules, lost objects, and/or property damage could result in guest removal from the property by owner and/or full forfeiture of the security deposit.
*FOLLOW THE CITY OF AUSTIN CODE DEPARTMENT RULES ON ASSEMBLY AND NOISE REGARDING SHORT-TERM RENTALS:
*Types of events or assemblies prohibited between the hours of 10pm-7am: When the dwelling units is used as a short term rental, a wedding, bachelor or bachelorette party, concert, sponsored event, or any similar group activity other than sleeping are prohibited between the hours of 10pm-7am.
*Requirements for outdoor assemblies: A licensee or guest may not use or allow another to use a short term rental for an outside assembly of more than six adults between 7am and 10pm.
*Restrictions on noise, sound equipment and loud music:
1)A guest of a short-term rental may not use or allow the use of sound equipment that produces sound in excess of 75 decibels at the property line between 10am and 10pm.
2)A guest of a short-term rental may not use or allow use of sound equipment that produces sound audible beyond the property line between 10pm and 10am
3)A guest of a short-term rental shall not make or allow another to make noise or play a musical instrument audible to an adjacent business or residence between 10:30pm and 7am.

Austin’s diversity in culture, style and outdoor activities makes this city the perfect home for this musician/teacher/engineer/nature lovers/international couple. Coming from Brazil and India, we couldn't ask for a better place!
We simply love downtown Austin. You see, we fell in love with each other salsa dancing at many of Austin’s great live music locations.
As often as we can, we visit Lady Bird Lake for a relaxing hike & bike outing, followed by an indulgent meal in one of downtown’s world famous local eateries. We have always wanted to take a vacation in our 'own' town, just by traveling a bit south. When this delightful and character filled property right by the lake became available, we jumped on it!
The 'fight' was fierce as lots of potential buyers felt captivated by this property as well.
