Excellent apartment, fantastic location. JC was a great host, very accomodating with my requests for early check in and late check out and fast on her replies, left an adorable welcome basket, with wine, cookies, coffee and gourmet tea.
Her place is on top of the Union sq, which is an ideal location, walking distance to east and west village, chelsea and gramercy. Trillions of cool restaurants, bars and movie theathers around you and a great subway station pretty much front door.
Building is great, has an elevator and her place is impecably clean. Shower is great, bed is super comfy and all apt is just a charm. Will def be staying here again!
JC is an amazing host.
The place is large, warm and beautiful decorated by JC.
Location is one of the best, 20 mts from union square with most of the subway lines makes you feel near from every location within Manhattan.
We strongly recommend this place!
Thank you JC for being so kind and generous!
Maria and Pablo.
What a fantastic first experience with AirBnB! JC made things very easy and was extremely thoughtful. We thoroughly enjoyed being in the neighborhood with very convenient subway and shopping. The apartment was exactly as advertised, spacious, clean, and welcoming.
It was wonderful after a long and busy day to come "home" instead of to a hotel room.
I'd be very happy to stay there again on our return! Thanks, JC!
This charming apartment is in a top location, so central yet very quiet.
All the main subway lines are easily accessible plus a great Wholefoods supermarket is nearby where essentials can be easily found. Lots of restaurants from which to choose as well.
The apartment was well equipped and comfortable.
A hairdryer would have been useful as well as some storage space for our belongings. We were provided with a wooden clothes rack and made do but my husband would have liked a few drawers in which to place his clothes. Not a deal breaker!
Dealing with the owner was straightforward and she even sent the keys to my daughter (who lives in NY) a few days before our arrival. We would return.
JC's apartment is terrific - a wonderful location meters from Union Square. We were surprised that it was very quiet in the apartment despite being in such a busy part of Manhattan. Easy access to public transport, bars for Happy Hour at the end of a busy day's sightseeing and great places to eat in the evenings. The apartment itself is great - fully equipped - home from home!
We appreciated the welcome box of 'goodies' - a nice touch.
Highly recommended - all upside, no downside! Happy days.
JC is an incredible host - she is well organised and prepared - there were some really nice touches - not only in the welcome to NY basket etc but given I was coming in late I really appreciated the milk, cereal and yogurt in the fridge - especially when you have had a long flight. Thanks once again. Sandra
Jc's apartment was exactly what we wanted and exactly as described. Perfect for our 5 day stay. Kitchen is modern and well equipped. The large windows let in the light with no one able to see in. Remarkable privacy. The apartment walks out to Union Sq. Close access to subway and many restaurants. Whole Foods and Trader Joe's are a block away.
Dealing with Jc was a delight, fast and cooperative.
The icing on the cake was the complimentary bottle of champagne - again remarkable,
Next time we are in NYC we'll stay again.
This is my fifth time staying here and each time, it gets better and better. JC even left a bottle of bubbly and some granola for the morning! Such a nice touch. I was able to laundry in the building with ease (good for me, since I'd been traveling for a couple weeks at that point) and that bed is seriously, so comfortable. Thanks JC as always for your hospitality!!
JC's place is in the perfect location!
My partner and I stayed for 10 nights. We absolutely loved it and would definitely stay there next time if it's available.
It was tidy, stylish, quiet (even though it's right on Union Square) and everything else we needed to have a comfortable stay in NYC. Perfect for a couple.
JC was very accommodating and she was always available when we needed assistance with anything.
We have absolutely no complaints and only good things to say about the apartment and JC.
There is so much good food in the area - we are vegetarians and had no trouble finding incredible vegetarian food. There is also a Wholefoods market and everything else you need within a stones throw.
The Union Square markets were a highlight - just stroll out the door and into a great market with loads of beautiful produce and organic food.
Thank you JC!
I thought I was getting a good deal in a great location, but JC's place was a great deal and the location couldn't have been better... literally steps from Union Square. Was blown away at how big the place was when I walked in, and loved the decor. JC was an excellent communicator/host. Getting in and out was a breeze.
Overall I felt very spoiled staying here. Highly recommend to anyone getting away or even in town for work (I didn't mention the giant desk with natural light).
