We are on the U.S.A. side of Niagara Falls. Just a 15-minute walk to Niagara Falls State Park and the bridge to Canada, we offer a full apartment with kitchen, bath and complete privacy. Our unique style provides a true "feels like home" stay.

The space

Welcome to The Vintage Whinery, the most popular Airbnb destination in Niagara Falls, New York. Your hostess, Sheila, is an artist-in-residence on the second floor. I strive to keep this space dedicated to creativity in all of its many splendored forms. Art, music, design and giving new life to found objects. Sheila is a dressmaker and decoupage artist and her friend, Rachel, is a freeform multimedia construction artist. Our visitors enjoy a uniquely decorated French-inspired apartment that is a mere 15-minute walk to the American Falls and the Rainbow Bridge to Canada. With a valid passport, you can cross the bridge and enjoy the Canadian Falls with carriage rides, casinos, a water park and, if you are driving, beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake for a refined lunch, a lovely stroll, the Shaw Theater Festival and shopping.

Guests have the luxury of enjoying the entire downstairs flat with two bedrooms (one queen, one full bed), a full kitchen and private bath and entry. If you choose to sleep with your window open a bit you will hear the distant rumbling of the Mighty Niagara as you lull off to sleep. An assortment of teas, homemade Chai tea, and coffee are available for you in the kitchen. Feel free to cook in-house, or bring back some local delicacies to enjoy.

My level of interaction with my guests is flexible. I provide a map of the region to each guest. A local wine bar just three short blocks away offers fine food, great wine selection and occasional live music. Niagara's new culinary school offers upscale cuisine and the wait staff is eager to please. There are several local and Indian restaurants, a liquor store, a post office and convenience store within walking distance. If you're feeling lucky, the Seneca Niagara Casino is a five-minute walk away.

Expect Friday and Sunday fireworks at 10 p.m, viewable on an evening walk, frequent summer street festivals or free concerts in the historic Falls district sponsored frequently by The Hard Rock Cafe near the Falls.

You will enjoy your privacy when occupying this entire apartment which is also a perfect venue for musical concerts, photo shoots, family get-togethers, or just a beautiful, peaceful resting spot during your visit to the wonder of Niagara Falls. I am available to chat or answer your questions, am LGBT and pet friendly. There is street parking right in front of my place and I offer free WiFi. I will host a maximum of 4 people (with no exceptions) per reservation.

One Queen and One Full Bed are available, 2 Couples or 2-3 people will be most comfortable although four singles might have to indulge in some bed sharing..

an air mattress is available for $10 per night, set up prior to your arrival if possible...

Guests Are NEVER allowed to sleep on the couches.

Overall a nice stay. Sheila is very nice, She stays upstairs. Niagra Falls on the American site looks like a ghost town at night, if you have a Canadian Visa, I strongly recommend that you stay in the Canadian site which is a modern city and looks much nicer!

Sheila was a great host and an equally great jazz singer. We thoroughly enjoyed all the touches her place offered us during our short trip.

One of the most unique AirBnB properties I've encountered. Visited NF for a friends wedding. Sheila graciously allowed us to host the wedding party for a few hours before the wedding. Her curios will undoubtedly add charm to the wedding photos. Apartment was also roomier than expected. Every inch designed w love and generosity. A true artist retreat. If you're planning to cross into CAN, yet wish to room in the US, this location is ideal. Also very close to Amtrak for train travelers. Highly recommend eating at PowerCity Deli! Best corned beef and pastrami sandwiches. Jalapeño cream cheese for bagels!
