Guest access
You'll be able to make use of the whole first floor. Porch, kitchen/dining room, bedroom, bathroom. When I'm in the property I can escort you inside.
When I am not in the property there is a lockbox at the gate with the gate keys (please always leave them in the lockbox once used).
If the lockbox is stolen because it is not closed and locked properly there will be a charge of $70 for replacing the lockbox and key.
The door also has a code for entry.

Other things to note
The cabin is located 450 away from the road, it is a dirt road all the way back but it is accessible by any means.

Monkeys travel occasionally through the trees right in front of the cabin.

There are all types of wildlife so I suggest keeping the mesh doors closed if insects bother you. It's no biggie really but if you leave the doors ajar for a long time eventually you'll see all kinds of flying insects inside.

You may see armadillos, coatimundi, monkeys, hummingbirds, deer, ocelot, etc.

My closest neighbor is over 200 meters away. All you will hear is wildlife noises.

I live nearby, about 20 meters, you can contact me at any time.

Internet reliability depends on the weather. I have Starlink satellite, if it is overcast then the signal may drop completely, please keep this in mind. Otherwise the internet speed is good.

Washer and dryer is free the first time, then it is $5 (2,500 CRC) per load.
(You earn a free wash/dryer use for every 3 nights).

The dryer is located in my house, about 20 meters from the cabin. You can use it after washing by yourself or I can help you dry.

In the rainy season, in case of multiple non-stop rainy days, the entrance may flood, in that case, an SUV is recommended due to high water level at the entrance gate, this is unusual but happens. In some instances, a low car will not make it.

I offer a guided or included walking trail. Please inquire.

Where you’ll be

San Francisco, Provincia de Guanacaste, Costa Rica

There is a dirt road leading up to the cabin with a steep hill at the beginning but you do not need a 4x4 to access it. Very quiet town of San Francisco just 450 m (across the street). There is a pulperia (mom and pop in-house market). There are sodas (mom-and-pop restaurants) about 5 minutes both ways.
Please note: with very heavy rains it may flood the entrance, just at the gate, a small car may not be able to cross. The rest of the way is fine.
