Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Eric was an excellent host, and the apartment was great. While the apartment is small, myself and my roommate were able to comfortably share the apartment and even have the occasional guest come by. Eric was always very prompt and gracious with any issues that came up, and ensured they were properly dealt with in a timely manner.

Overall, the stay was quite enjoyable.

  • Great for explorers of the city - not for those who want to stay home.

As a dancer at LINES Ballet's summer program, I was able to get to and from the studio near Civic Center very easily. This loft fit 4 people a little tight, but we made it work. Public transportation is amazing and the neighborhood is beautiful! Hayes Valley, Nopa, and Lower Haight all have so much to offer. Also, The Mission and Castro are not far. The furniture is comfortable and welcoming. Just look out for the ladder!

The downside is that the street is very loud all through the night. If you are a light sleeper, this place is not for you. It would be great if some double-paned windows were installed. However, it's almost as if the rattle of engines can be felt from the street. As well, there was a musty-ness in the apartment. That may just be because of the San Fran fog, but our clothes did smell even if they were clean. As for groceries, it was a bit of a trek but nothing public transportation couldn't solve. Lastly, we had to buy our own blankets and toilet paper. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice to have that provided for since we paid so much.

    Response from Eric:

Dalton and his three friends were nice guests. They wanted all to sleep in individual beds so it makes it a bit tight as opposed to couples sharing the queen beds/futon in the apt. (You need twice as many queen beds in that case) The apt is noisy yes as it faces a busy street. It hasn't been an issue for most guests, but some would mind definitely. I wish I had known they were missing blankets as I would have gladly provided some more! (Of course blankets and tp are included with the linen, towels, cookware, etc...)

  • Centrally located flat on a major thoroughfare with convenient access to many places in SF. Made even better with parking provided.

  • Good situation closed to alamo square and direct buses to market street and golden gate park.

    Rates interesting for a family.

We spend a very nice time.

  • The apartment was perfect for our family of 4! Plenty of room. The pictures do not capture how room the apartment really is. Actually, we stayed in Apt. 6, rather than the apartment that we were originally booked. There was some kind of scheduling conflict, but we loved the apartment that Eric switched us, too! He was very nice. Had everything ready for us when we got there. No keys to keep up with, as the door had a key pad for entry. Great views of the city from the kitchen and the bedroom! Even came over when we called about a tv issue. So nice! Thank you Eric!

  • Val was extremely hospitable and accommodated all of our requests. She went out of our way to make sure that we were well looked after during our stay.

  • A very cute apartment, nicely decorated and centrally located (close to great areas like Haight-Ashbury and Hayes Valley). In our opinion it was just a little bit noisy.
Eric and Val are lovely people, very accommodating hosts & always there to help and share a moment. Thank you again for everything.
