This apartment was everything we were expecting, and better! The location is perfect, in front of Venice the beach. The bikes were there at all times, and were very helpful to know the surroundings. The home owners were very professional, explaining everything and with unique local tips.
I would definitely recommend this apartment if you’re looking for a beach vacation or having a general good time in L.A.
Wonderful, clean apartment, great location, easy to communicate with, flexible hosts, perfect experience. Stayed for 5 nights with 3 children (10, 14 and 17) and two adults. Originally planned to come with a group of 2 or 3 people only, number then increased to 5 which posed no problem to Tiffany, thank you for your flexibility. The apartment is spacious and bright. Great views from inside and also on the balcony. Loved the colourful tiles. WiFi worked flawlessly which was important as our eldest daughter had school work to do. She was very happy with the little desk she found. The kitchen is well equipped in order to prepare meals if you don't eat out, maybe some more plates and bowls would have been convenient for our group of five but this is just a minor observation and was no problem at all. Check in and out was as easy as can be. The car park in front of the apartment is a fantastic add on. We used the bicycles (made use of the cycle rent around the corner to get two more bikes, very nice service there) in order to get to Marina del Rey, the Venice canals, Santa Monica and past to the Will Rogers Estate beach. The combination of having the three very different alternatives Venice boardwalk, Abbott Kinney and Santa Monica Boulevard very close by proved ideal especially for the two teens, who thorougly enjoyed people watching, window and real ! shopping -as well - they did not want to go to an outlet or a mall at all as they felt they found everything in the apartment's vicinity. We definitely recommend the apartment and Tiffany and Janine as hosts. Thanks again.
Stayed at this place for Memorial Day weekend and it was wonderful! It was ridiculous how close to the beach it is! And it's in the middle of Venice Boardwalk/Strip for the tourists but also closer to nicer restaurants places, a group of us easily walked to bars on Main Street in Santa Monica from the apartment. Tiffany and Janin were nice hosts. Checkin is s bit later at 3pm and it is next to a house that was having a day party when we were there (which our group were fine with) and seems to be used to promote tech products/apps. The 2 bedrooms were comfy but there's actually another side room that has a door and can be its own room with an air mattress which is great if you have a big group. In the living room is also a fold out couch so there's a good amount of space and privacy (aside from the living room couch of course). Would definitely want to stay here again when vacationing in Venice!
The place was really nice, great location just at the beach, close to the points of interest we had in LA. It was perfect for a group of 5. The communication with Tiffany was easy. I can definately recommed it to others.
Welcoming hosts all along the way. Hope to return soon!!
Overall I had a great time here. I celebrated my birthday with my brother here and we all really enjoyed it. Can't beat the location, very quiet at night. Riding one of the bikes on the boardwalk in the morning to go get coffee was one of my highlights :) thanks would love to stay again!

About the Host, Tiffany & Janin
I am from Venice, California. I am in real estate although I have worked in education also. I like reading, swimming (ocean), traveling, gardening, bike riding, dancing, Yoga. I am not a big party person - although I did go to Burning Man last year. That was quite an adventure!. I recommend it highly. Just drink lots of water and be prepared for the dust!
I have two children, one is a software engineer in San Francisco and the other is in art school. I have a cat and my brother's dog occasionally visits - with or with out the brother.
A few years ago I took my kids to NY and we found a cool East Village apartment on Craig's list but Craig's list can be a little dicey so I thought I tried Airbnb this last trip. I had such a great experience with Airbnb in New York that I decided to list an apartment I have in Venice when I came back. My sister in law, Tiffany, lives in the same building and we are working on this project together.
I was going to list books I like but that would be a really long list... How about favorite movie? Chinatown
Travel - love Venice, Italy, and Paris of course, and Mexico. And Museum Island in Berlin. And tropical beaches, well, any mountain or beach, actually. And Horses.
Tiffany is a hard working mom by day, and a knitter by night. I love going the extra mile to put a smile on our guest' faces. I am a 6 or 7th generation born in SoCal, on my Mom's side.
I have 2 dogs, that I love to death! I am a homebody! I love baking and trying new gluten free foods! I am 100% obsessed with all things Pretty Little Liars! The only time its hard to get in touch with me is when Pll is on TV!
My family comes first always! I am so happy being a mother to one amazing little girl, and I try to be the best wife I can! Having a close connection with family is really important to me!
I went to a Waldorf school, so I like to think I can think out of the box, and I try to be as creative as I can be.
I would love to go back to Greece and Germany. A dream vacation would be Fiji.
We are friendly, flexible, knowledgeable and will try to answer any questions you have about Venice and the surrounding areas whether or not you book with us.
