Bright Spacious Brooklyn

Apartment - Private room · 15th St, Brooklyn, NY 11215, United States

The Space

Welcome to Park Slope! Close walking distances to so many wonderful places like Prospect Park, Greenwood Cemetary, lovely local bars(including a great new beergarden with outdoor bocce and indoor fireplaces), restaurants, boutiques, cafes! Very close to the new Barclays Center where you can see great concerts and games!

The apartment is a 2 bedroom, one of which will be yours. The space is bright with lots of windows, a fully equipped kitchen which you are welcome to use. Cable TV in the common space and internet of course.

Your room has a full sized bed and I will provide you with clean sheets and towels. The bathroom is shared.

If you are renting a car, parking is rarely an issue. However, you don't need to because it's about a 5 min walk to the F,G,R trains and can be in the city or williamsburg in 15-20 min. I think there's enough to do around here that you won't need to go very far!

I grew up in Brooklyn and have a lot of great insight on places to go, where to eat, how to get there, can't miss places and under the radar hidden gem types throughout NYC! And as my guest I would love to share this information with you!

I'm not home very often, but when I am I enjoy cooking or watching a good movie. My boyfriend lives here as well, but he is traveling quite often. We have a Jack Russell that splits her time between my house and my mothers depending on my schedule. So if you're not much a fan of dogs, let me know so I can arrange for her to stay with mom(she is quite cute tho).

Looking forward to meeting you!

  • My needs for this stay were a little different from most travelers since I am a "local" and needed temporary quarters for a bit, but my stay with Justyna was everything i had hoped for - she was a great host, friendly, warm, a big fan of her neighborhood and ready with lots of suggestions. She wasn't actually home too much while I was there, but the time we were together was comfortable and easy, and actually more than one could expect from someone sharing their home with a stranger. The space was clean and bright and pretty close to the F/G and R trains, so access to Manhattan is good. The bedroom was pretty big by Brooklyn standards, and had decent closet space. The neighborhood is a little removed (but not too far) from the "scene" in Park Slope, but Gowanus has some interesting music venues and you can walk to the Whole Foods on 3rd St. - and 9th St has a lot of conveniences. It is also a very quiet block and building.
    I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Justyna !!

  • We had a film playing in a film festival in Brooklyn and we needed a place close by. I checked all the hotels around the area and found them to be way out of my price range. I went on airbnb and found Justyna's place fit perfectly. It was only a couple blocks a way to the screening. We really only needed a place to sleep and tried to be out as much as possible although we did come back during mid day and watched a little TV. Location is close to the subway and there a tons of places to go to eat and shop. Its quite convenient. The place is spacious and our room had a comfortable bed and a big closet. Also, Justyna was a great host and gave us information on where to go for food and thrift stores. We did an early check in which was great because we both came in on red eye flights. I was really grateful she allowed us to check in earlier than any hotel. Her dog Seya (sp?) pronounced like "See Ya" was the most lovable dog ever. She sat on my lap while we watched TV. The shower and sink's water gets hot really fast so be careful and the place is relatively quiet during the night. My experience was really positive. I do recommend making sure that you do stuff during the day because Justyna works at night so she is sleeping during the day.

    Totalmente recomendable.

  • We stayed two weeks. The house is a perfect base to explore the city, close to F and R trains to manhattan, and G to williamsbourg. There are very good market, bar and nice shops in the neighborhood. The apartment is as pictured and it was very comfortable. The room is spacious and it has a big wardrobe.
It was what we were looking for!
Justyna is a great host. She was so busy so we saw her few times. However she was very helpful and friendly and we spent very good time with her when we met! She also gave us a lot of good informations about Brooklyn and Manhattan. Ask her where you can eat a very good hamburger!!!
We really liked Brooklyn and it was great meeting Justyna! Thank you, Justyna! See you soon!

  • I really enjoyed my time in Brooklyn and Justyna was great! The apartment was just as described, clean and comfortable. The weather was very hot when I was there in July and thankfully there was an air conditioner in the room that cooled it down great. She was knowledgeable about the area and offered her help when she could. For the price and the area I felt it was a very good value. Nothing special but everything you need and a great location.

  • We stayed with Justyna for 4 nights. We hardly saw her during that time since she was working late nights. We had a miscommunication (which was our own fault) regarding where to pick up the keys to the apartment, but we got this all sorted. We had a great time staying with Justyna. She is a very sweet hostess and was very welcoming after our delayed trip. She was also very helpul in giving information about interesting sites to visit in New York. Regarding the apartment: the bedroom is spacious and has lots of closet space. We enjoyed having access to the kitchen for breakfast and the neighbourhood has lots of nice restaurants and shops, definitely worth a walk! Thank you so much, Justyna, for your warmth and hospitality!!

  • Justyna's appartment was very comfortable and cosy. It is very close to Park Slope, a charming neighbourhood, family-friendly. Justyna was also very flexible with our schedule of arrival and departure, which we have very much appreciated.

  • Well located, well maintained, well... well, well everything! Justyna's flat is practical and quiet, Justyna is hospitable and helpful, and Sia (her dog) is pleasant company. If we had to do it again, we'll do it the same! Just perfect.
