Maureen is a wonderful host. She has a beautiful house in a nice area close to down town.Well worth a visit by anyone looking to stay in lexington.
Maureen was a wonderful host as always! She even upgraded me to a nicer room, free of charge, and offered to make me eggs for breakfast. I would recommend Maureen's house to anyone passing through Lexington as an excellent, warm, inviting place to stay.
Nice location. Lovely home. Maureen is very friendly & helpful. We were the only guests, and were upgraded to a larger room. Beds were comfortable. We would have liked a stand up shower rather than a handheld shower head while sitting in the bathtub.
I enjoyed staying with Maureen for over a month in Lexington. Her place is a ten minute bike ride to downtown and five minutes out to grocery shopping. The room was clean with plenty of space for hanging clothes and putting things away in drawers. She also invited me to eat dinner with her 3 or 4 nights a week, which was very welcome. I plan to stay here again next time I am in Lexington.
I had a wonderful stay with Irish and recommend her home to anyone looking for a clean, quiet and comfortable place to stay in Lexington. I felt really lucky to have found her! Her home is decorated beautifully, and everything is clean and organized. My room has two big windows with lots of natural light, plenty of closet space and comfortable bed. I had to work remotely from her home, so the desk in my room was perfect and the wifi is strong. Her home is quiet and relaxed if you need time to work or study. There is also a park just a few minutes down the street, and I went walking there to take breaks from work. Since I had a longer stay (2 weeks) I enjoyed getting to know Irish and talking over meals. We ended up having a lot in common and she is fun to be around. Irish really made my comfort a priority, and I just felt like it was home away from home! Thank you so much Irish -- having a safe and comfortable place to stay really made my Lexington experience a great one. I consider you a friend and will be in touch!
Lovely home and gracious host- highly recommend staying with Maureen- also very convenient to sites in and around Lexington.
Maureen is an unbelievable hostess. I am a vet student from France, and I stayed 6 weeks with her and her fabulous little dog!!
Her house is very welcoming, and we can study quietly on the desk in the bedroom. I discovered lots of American activities with Maureen ( country dance, drumming, museum..) and it was just lots of fun!!!
My level in english was so bad and Maureen was very patient with me...
And she is a very good cook!!!
She was like my second mom there and I hope can come back in Kentucky with her quickly!!!
