Nice apartment situated in the characteristic quarter of Castello.
Made up of entrance with kitchen, double bedroom and bathroom.
Small but functional, two good architects (family friends) studied it in the detalis in order to exploit every space.
Very close to the public transportation, for this reason it's very easy to arrive from the airport or from the station (it's very convenient being so close to the boat stop in Venice!).
Exactly beside Biennale, you can arrive at San Marc square in 15 minutes with a nice walking along Riva Degli Schiavoni with a wonderful view of Giudecca island and Salute church. Lido island and its beaches are just two boat stops away.
In the nearness you can find super market, bakery, pastry and characteristic restaurants.
The price included sheets, towels and the necessary for the first breakfast, maps and suggestions about Venice.
For me and my housband is a pleasure to accomodate you, make you feel confortable and give you all the suggestions that you need.
The apartment is lovely, the location is great; close to the water bus, but slightly removed from the main tourist throng. There are some great restaurants down a lovely walk, and a cafe with WiFi around that corner that supports the local conservatory. Gioia is an amazing hostess. She met us at the main ticket station at Piazelle Roma, had a marked map of our stop and how to get the apartment, and was incredibly helpfully when I had to buy the water bus passes.
We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment.
It was very cool that the host picked us up at the boat station , with a friendly smile like Gioia has.
The apartment is as it looks in the photos, or even better.
It's very nicely renovated and maintained, and it is located in the best area by my point of view, the Castello neighborhood is super charming!
Definitely I recommend you this apartment.
Nice Small Flat in a Nice Neighborhood of Venice ! Gioia is very sympathetic, she wait us half an hour at the boat station. Thanks a lot for the flat (and the umbrella !) ;-)
Gioia is very welcoming and explained us very clearly how to go to the apartment.
The apartment is small but convenient. However the bed was not very good and we were surprised when we saw the bathroom. Indeed, the toilets are at the back of the bathroom, the shower is at the middle of it, and these two parts are only separated by two plastic curtains so when you have a shower the whole bathroom is wet.
The pressure of the shower is very low so it takes a long time to have a shower.
But the location if great and calm, two minutes walk from Giardini vaporetto station and it is approximately a twenty minutes walk from San Marco Piazza.
Everything was clean !
We really liked staying at Gioia's appartment. It's small, but fits 2 persons perfectly. The location is great for visiting the Biennale, but I also would recommend it when you are visiting the city Venice, because it's not in the tourist district and therefore really calm.
We enjoyed our stay in Venice and in Gioias adorable little appartement to the fullest! After picking us up from the boatstation (Giardini - perfect for the Biennale!!) she walked us to the appartement (5 min) and gave us information on where to find the next supermarket, bar etc. Overall the appartement was tidy and clean and provided everything necessary. We had no trouble with the warm water or heating, as she instructed us how and when to use it. Thank you very much Gioia, we hope to see you again in 2 years ;) ciao, kati&anna
