About This Listing
Enjoy the privacy of a home at an affordable price in a convenient and safe neighborhood.
Colorful sun shiny home conveniently located in nice neighborhood on open tree lined street close to the University as well as parks, shopping and restaurants. Get to campus any way you like, it is just one mile away! Walk, bike, unicycle, rollerblade, bus, taxi or car! Convenient bus stops in front of my home! This is a perfect solution for folks with business at the University looking for a pleasant place to stay and relax too.
This is a cozy little family friendly home! Ideal for family coming to town for weddings and reunions. Information on local restaurants, shopping and attractions available.
City ordinance allows me to rent to families and up to three friends or non-related individuals.
BEDROOMS: Three bedrooms with one full size, one queen size and one king size bed. There is a fold-out couch and a comfy sofa that can be used for a bed in the living room.
BATHROOMS: Two bath rooms, one featuring a jacuzzi tub.
LIVING ROOM: Beautiful bamboo hardwood floor living room with large screen television. No cable but I do have an HDMI wire to hook up to a computer.
KITCHEN: Fully-equipped kitchen with microwave and dishwasher.
BREAKFASTS: Tea and coffee are always available. Breakfast foods such as bagels, cereal and fruit available upon request.
PARKING: Parking in driveway and plenty on the street.
YARD: Back yard deck with chairs and picnic table for outdoor dining. Mini-gas operated grill, but let me know if you will be using it, so I can have it out and ready for your use. Large backyard with fire pit means you can cook out, roast marshmallows, or relax by campfire. Note that the dog will be in the back yard and you might need to step carefully.
DOG: Sasha is a very friendly black lab about ten years old. She loves attention. She lives in the back yard and garage. She loves visitors and will be happy to have you throw a stick to her for hours, but you can easily ignore her if you dogs are not your thing. She is sometimes overly protective of her own space with other dogs, so this is not the place for you if you need to bring a pet. While you are visiting all arrangements for her care will be by me and my family who will enter into the garage and back yard only to feed and water her without disturbing you during your stay.
BIKING: In this bike friendly town, you may prefer a bike to get around! The city has an extensive network of bike lanes. I have a good selection of tools and bike stand for quick repair jobs as well. I can give you advice on local group rides or plan a visit to our closest mountain biking trails at Kickapoo State Park.
INTERNET: We now have smoking hot wireless internet and netflix on the large screen television.
My home is a smoke-free drug-free. If you need to smoke please do so outside.

This is a great place to rent in the Champaign/Urbana area. Nice neighborhood and close to campus and restaurants. I stayed here with 4 friends for a golf weekend at Stone Creek, which is about 5 minutes from the house. The home was super clean and comfortable. So much better and more social than staying in an average hotel.
Jennifer was a great host. She showed us around and made us feel welcome in her home. House was clean and comfortable. Sasha was a great companion. House was as advertized.
This was my second time using Airbnb and Jennifer was quite helpful and responded quickly to our many questions. We came in to run the 1/2 marathon and she was very accommodating to our schedules. Great experience, would definitely recommend for a group coming into town for a University event.
We got wonderful instructions. Unfortunately couldn't meet Jennifer, but had a wonderful time at this great house.
Perfect if you need to visit campus but want to stay away from crazy campus town.
Listing was accurate and the host (Jennifer) was very hospitable and flexible regarding check in and check out. House was very clean and laid out nicely with a large common area. Great for a group of 4-5 staying for a University event weekend like ours.
