We can arrange your airport transfers
Youssef was waiting for us in the main square, after arranging for a cab to pick us up at the airport. We immediately felt at home at the riad. You go suddenly from a really hot, bustling square to the cool oasis that is Riad al Faras. There are lots of trees and a tiny pool you can dip your feet into. We had a room with a double bed and it had a nice sized bathroom and lots of cupboard space. The riad has a rooftop where we had breakfast every morning (included in the price) and it's great to sunbathe and lounge on for when Marrakech gets too hectic. The location is perfect, it's safe and it's just a few minutes' walk from Djemaa el Fna. It's also really near the Bahia Palace, Saadian tombs and Kasbah neighborhood which is great (have the camel burger at Clock Cafe, it's legendary). The rooms are cleaned every day and the staff are really nice. It's the perfect place to retreat, relax and rewind in a busy city filled with noise and people! Other neighborhoods are also all only about 10-15 minutes away by cab, and you're close to the airport.
A WONDERFUL place to call home while in Marrakech! Charlotte made our trip incredibly easy and fun! This was our home base to our trip to Morocco and Charlotte helped us book our transport from the airport, 3-day desert trip and let us leave our things while we went to Essaouira for a day trip. Youssef, the building manager, was extremely helpful as well - going out of his way to show us to the main square and make sure we found our travel company ok for the desert trip. The room was very comfortable - hot shower, super comfy mattress, gorgeous courtyard and rooftop terrace. Highly recommend!
We felt very welcome. A taxi was arranged to pick us up from the airport and Yusuf was there to meet us when we arrived. He also showed us around the local neighbourhood.
The Riad was very nice and as described .
We had a great time at Riad Al faras l! Beautiful courtyard and great breakfast we were the only people staying there so had the roof terrace to ourselves! Highly reccomended!
The Riad is a delightful place. It feels very tranquil and homely and a lovely retreat from the exciting bustle of the surrounding Souks. It is a short walk from the square where all the excitement happens (fantastic street food, snake charmers and acrobats) and the Riad staff Josef and Aysha and their helpers are very friendly. We went in Feb ( when it can still be chilly in the morning and at night) so bring jumpers and slippers and dressing gowns. Also pre-book massages and Hamman at the Les Bains Marrakech with Charlotte before hand its REALLY GOOD.
When the sun shines then relax on the roof and listen to the call to prayer ringing out over the roof tops. A magical stay . Thank you Riad Al Faras.

I live most of the time in Lyon in France. I am a big fan of the "old Lyon" neighborhood.
I love traveling, specially in Marrakech in the nice and relaxing Riad of my family. Our staff is amazing and welcome our guests very carefully when we are away.
Always happy to provide visitors with recommendations and advice ;)
