The host welcomed us very well. The location was a bit sleazy and difficult for a vehicle to get to. We did not take the accommodation although we had paid, as I twisted my knee and the room was on the 5th floor with no lift. The bathroom had a shower over the toilet and was very cramped too.
Especen hotel is located perfectly! Room was comfy and clean! The staff is great i have to say! Definitely recommended!!
Great little hotel. I liked the casual atmosphere of this place. The room was clean and spacious. Small bathroom but definitely great for our need. Great friendly staff downstairs. Really great location... It's not in the heart of the old quarter but we were thankful of that, yet it's a 3 min walk to the old quarter or the lake. It's right by the Cathedral which has a great Plaza for people watching with some great cafes and restaurants for everyone. And we're coming back in 2 weeks. Thanks again!
Thanh is very helpful in organizing our stay in this hotel. He's also very accommodating as we asked him if we could leave the luggage as we went on trip to Ha Long bay. The location is also very good at the heart of old quarter, few stones away from the cathedral. Though the sounds of church bell will be heard every now and then, especially on Sunday when they started ringing the bell at 4am.
Room is quite big with one double bed and one single bed. Quite comfortable
