Communications are excellent! My flat is located only 3 minute walk from Clapham North tube station on the Northern Line, zone 2 and same distance to the Overground too!! The Overground takes you in 12 minutes to Clapham Juction, Britain's busiest railway station perfect to use it for your daily excursions to the south coast. Worth noting also is that the National Express Bus (which takes you to Stanstead airport among other destinations) drops you off right on Clapham High Street..less than a five minute walk to my apartment!
The underground will take you to Victoria in 10 mins (providing brilliant access from Gatwick airport) and to London Bridge (City) or Leicester Square (heart of London) in 15 minutes.
I'm very knowledgeable on London so if this is your first trip into this amazing city I would be delighted to give you any tourist/transport information you may need.
Please ask if there is anything else you would like me to arrange, any special requests.
Clapham North is truly one of the nicest areas in London. You will fall in love with its village atmosphere and its exciting scene, loads of fabulous bars and restaurants to unwind and mingle with the cool crowd. Not to mention its nice clothing stores and vintage stores and ultimately, its amazing huge park!
Enjoy all the pleasures of this bustling area from the comfort of your "home away from home."
For the most scenic routes of London take the bus 88 past the Tate Gallery up to Westminster (Houses of Parliament, Westminster Cathedral), Whitehall, Trafalgar Square (National Gallery) , Whitehall and Covent Garden. Buses to Sloane Square (Kings Road) Knightsbridge (Harrods and other great shops) and Notting Hill/Portobello Road can be taken from Clapham Common. Buses run all night (N88) too and if you need a taxi I will be more than happy to give you my local one.
Bus Routes: (phone number hidden), N88, N155
Just 5 minute walk is the Fish Club, It is listed as one of the top fish & chips rest. in London! About 4 minute walk there is also a great pub, "The Falcon", authentic English pub feel and food not to mentioned a great place to hang out with the local people and enjoy the outside seating.
7 minute walk from my apartment is the lovely Clapham Common, which provides an oasis of peace amid the busy traffic of south west London, with Holy Trinity Church, which dates from 1776, at its perimeter. A number of cafes, sporting facilities, two playgrounds (one of which has been recently renovated) and a skate park make the common a lively recreational facility for locals. Originally built in 1890, Clapham Common's bandstand is the largest in London. After falling into disrepair in the 1960s, the bandstand was restored and reopened in 2006 and now hosts a variety of open-air concerts during the summer months.
5 minute walk (or you can take a bus) to get to a giant Sainsbury’s (supermarket), not to mention all the small shops that are in the area!

First of all, Adriano is so nice and friendly! We really enjoyed his company! Then: the house is perfectly located, close to the metro and overground but in an quite street. The room is very warm and absolutely clean, as the rest of the house. We highly recommend Adriano and his lovely house for your stay in London! We are definitely going back when we'll be back in London!
everything was perfect! nice and clean room, great location and very friendly host. We would always stay with Adriano again :)
Adriano's place is a lovely London home which is close to great transport links that can take you to all parts of the city very easily.
Adriano is a great host: very helpful, experienced and knowledgeable. We had some great chats, but he was also very respectful of our privacy too.
I'd highly recommend his home! Grazie!!
Adriano was very welcoming, kind and made me feel at ease from the first few moments I met him. The property was in beautiful condition and I can't fault one thing during my stay at Adriano's property.
I would definitely recommend this house to others and stay here again if the situation arose.
My wife and I stayed at Adriano's double room for a few nights, and we had a great experience.
Adriano is a readily-available, accommodating, and considerate host. The house is well-appointed, includes many every day conveniences you'd find in your own home/kitchen, and feels comfortable. We liked having a large, flat screen TV setup with a wide selection of DVDs in our room to help us through sleepless nights as we adjusted to the time change.
Adriano is an intriguing conversationalist, who's always ready to share a story from his past or provide advice on getting around in London.
Highly recommend staying at Adriano's.
Adriano was a very pleasant host. He was nice, friendly and really welcoming with us. He already was when we talked to book the room indeed.
Moreover, he's very talkative and it was nice to exchange thoughts with him and discover the "history" of his house.
The room was as lovely as on the pictures and really clean. We appreciated that point. Actually the whole house was ! And we quite like the smell of the softner ...
The location was perfect ! Straight to the heart of London and fast and easy to go to the points we wanted to visit or return (we already lived in London). From buses to tube and overground, you can go everywhere !! Even at night because we took a 24 hour bus to come back to the room from Waterloo's IMAX cinema.
** Try the coffee just in front of Clapham north's station, it is a good and cheap one for sure ! ;) **
We really enjoyed staying in Adriano's room and we greatly recommand this host because he treats people as real guests.
It was a great pleasure to stay with Adriano. Along with a truly comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated house, he provided us with a very welcoming attitude and lots of flexibility in organizational matters. Although it was our first stay in London, it seems that his place is a true bargain in comparison with other offers in the city.
My wife and I stayed with Adriano for two weeks after moving out from Australia. His house is amazing! It's clean, homely, is close to transport and Clapham High Street. Adriano is friendly, welcoming, a great host and has a really good knowledge of the Clapham area. I recommend his favourite Italian restaurant Osteria on High Street it has awesome pizza and pasta. In all it's a 10 out of 10 from us.
The host was incredibly accommodating. The place was beautiful, clean and tidy. The whole family was catered for and able to do what they needed to do day and night, safe in the knowledge they had a great place to stay. Really recommend.
Adriano is really a great host, a man is welcoming, friendly, sociable and makes guests feel as if they were at home. The house is stunning, with beautiful decor like a 5 star hotel and the price offered by Adriano is really good.
I stayed 4 nights in a beautiful room with an HD TV in the last generation with the ability to play DVDs. we also had the opportunity to go to the grocery store and then be able to make use of the kitchen for breakfast, lunch and dinner and this is very important. Hygiene and Cleaning Adriano is very important and this can be seen by how the bedrooms, the kitchen and the bathroom are clean.
For people who want to visit London I highly recommend the spectacular home of Adriano.certainly in the future if I decide to return to London to visit the home of Adrian will be my first choice.
