This home is in a scenic location.
With a broad view over Lake Samish, this west facing pristine property boasts 4 bedrooms, 2 baths and spacious 10'x40' deck with 26 feet of retractable awning to provide shade from the afternoon sun. The 1/2-acre lot includes 4000+ feet of flat lawn, sandy beach and multiply lawn and water toys. It is perfect for an extended family adventure or simply relaxing to natures amenities.
A lakeside fire pit is the ultimate spot to be at sunset. Don't forget to bring the ingredients for some s'mores!

Well stocked fully equipped kitchen w/ Insta-Hot

The house is fully equipped with the owners visiting often between rentals, meaning things like basic spices, coffee, condiments etc., are on-site. The cupboards are well stocked with the staples. A variety of quality pots, pans, utensils, dishes and sharp knives await your feasts for both indoor and outdoor dining!

There is an incredible array of wildlife including osprey, bald eagles and herons often flying just overhead. Summer water temperatures reach into the high 60 to mid 70's for a refreshing dip. Though the lake is not stocked, you will see many avid fishermen motoring about the shoreline. Many a perch have been caught right off the pier with a simple hook and worm but please follow Fish and Game regulations.

Broadband WIFI is solid 70 Mbps down, 16 Mbps up for those working from home, surfing the net or learning remotely. Additional detached office space is available upon inquiry.

Pets- we only accept one dog per booking at Seven Cedars for an extra fee. We do limit the breed. Unfortunately we do not accept the following breeds; Akita, Alaskan Malamute, American Eskimo, Cardigan Welsh Capri, Chow Chow, German Shepard, Great Pyrenees, Labradors, Pembroke Corgi, and Siberian Husky.

The dock is a shared asset with the neighbors to the south. Boats are welcome to tie up on multiple dock faces but please keep the slip open for the other dock owner.

Loud music is not allowed - please be respectful. That said, having fun is to be fully expected. Because the owners do not live near, we utilize a caretaker to deal with various needs to include landscape maintenance, getting the garbage to the curb on pickup days etc. They live in the daylight basement with no interior connection to the main house.

Seven Cedars offers a 10% discount for those staying a week or more and a 20% discount for those staying a month or more.

Guest access
We ask that guests only park 2 cars down at the house in the two carport spots. A 40-amp Level 2 car charger is located on the laundry room wall and is available your use.
As stated above we utilize a caretaker living in the daylight basement below the main house. They have their own access, parking, patio and lawn area which is indicated as private. Otherwise, the rest of the property is accessible by our guests.

Other things to note
Should you have day guests over, please advise in advance. We do not allow events on the property.

Neighborhood highlights

Seven Cedars is on Friday Creek Road that parallels the Lake Samish and dead ends in about 600 yards. There are around 3 dozen houses mostly occupied year-round. It is safe and quiet cul-de-sac with numerous walkers and kids playing and riding bikes.
