Very nice experience when I live in Bei's home. The location is near to Soho and Chinatown, very convenient.
It was nice to meet Bei, although briefly. The loft was really nice and met the description. The neighbourhood was classic busy Chinatown.
The location was convenient and the metro stops are not too far a walk from the apartment but Bei was not around and the check in was a little awkward due to translation issues. We were left in the lounge area while a woman cleaned the room we were to be sleeping in.... The room was clean though!
There was a few people staying at the same time but everyone kept to themselves so it wasn't a problem with a few other couples in the house.
Great host! She gave us lots of helpful information for traveling tips and dinning places. Apartment is always clean. Beware of the stairs, but if you're a more active individual than I am, then you should be fine.
Bei was not there, but instead sent a friend to meet me at the apartment upon my arrival. Unfortunately he did not speak English, so there was a bit of a communication barrier, but he set us up with everything we needed.
There were a few quirks; the bed is actually a futon, the second bathroom light was burnt out which made it impossible to use at night, and it was extremely warm. We had to have the fan on every night. You can also cook thanks to the kitchen, but I set off the very timid fire alarm when I was trying to make something in the oven--so be careful! Also, the 5 storey walk-up got a little tiring.
Otherwise, it was clean and the other guests were very respectful. It was a great location, close to subways, and we didn't have any trouble finding a taxi when it wasn't raining. All in all, we had a very good stay!
Cool - conveniently located apartment.
Instant reply, all organized, room and flat as described. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to meet in person. But we had a great stay, thanks very much, Bei.
loft is very relaxing! me and my boyfriend enjoyed sharing with other guest.i highly recommend staying here!!
The apartment had a good location in Chinatown and in walking distance to SoHo. There are 4 flights of stairs to get up - so be prepared if you have luggage! Living room space is very big, but the rooms can be a bit stuffy and hot, surprisingly even in the winter. We had to leave windows open and then it got a little bit noisy during the night. Granted, we were in the room closest to the living room and outside facing windows though. Bathrooms and toilets could be cleaner but were OK. Overall, we enjoyed the area/location and spent little time in the apartment besides sleeping.
