In a fully renovated century home in downtown, a small guest room for a single person. It is great to have privacy and your bathroom on the same floor. And a terrace to read books during the day and enjoy a glass of wine as the sun goes down.
We have two cats, El Polaco and Tita, tourist friendly and polite. :) See photos. Almost everyone falls in love with them.
We are a few meters from a traditional milonga, but in Buenos Aires you can find many different types: Alternative, queer, tourist
We love this old house, reformed respecting its original architecture. It is on the second floor, without elevator. Our cool and comfortable apartment with exposed brick has a true city feeling! It comfortably fits one and is centrally located on a quiet street, just three blocks from 9 de Julio Avenue. Enjoy roof access and easy access to all major subway lines!
You can use the washing machine, the kitchen, the fridge and the phone for local calls. We have two kitten, very curious. We do not smoke. If you smoke, only at the terrace, please.
We have a terrace, with chairs, deck, hammocks and umbrellas to allow you a tranquil day reading, checking emails or sleeping. We also have two lovely and polite cats: El Polaco and Tita.
It is our small guest room, on the first floor of our apartment, independent and quiet, with a private bathroom, closet, and WiFi. The room has a single bed and a second pull-out bed underneath, a light table, a work table, a couple of chairs and a wardrobe 2.50 m x 2.00 m. The bathroom is complete, with bath.
Our house is two blocks from the subway E line; that connects with Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada, Cathedral, and the Bank district ( 5 minutes). It's also 3 blocks from the 9 de Julio Avenue and the Subway C line (Teatro Colón, Obelisco, Corrientes Av., Avenida de Mayo, café Tortoni). There is a lot of public transportation to La Boca, Palermo, Belgrano, Villa Crespo and Recoleta. It is also ideal for walking to the City Center, San Telmo, Puerto Madero.
Six blocks from here you can find many restaurants (especially Spanish and Italian), pizzerías and typical Argentine "parrillas". My suggestion is to have a meal at a popular and cheap one, El Gijón, four block from our house. Do not forget to try it!
In our kitchen, you can use the refrigerator, washing machine and the microwave. You only have to let everything as it was before. We have a good library in Spanish and Portuguese, a collection of poetry and photography books and a CD collection with Brazilian music, tango and jazz.
Other things to note
We have two cats. We do not smoke. We love bikes and tango. You can use one of our bikes.

Hi, I´m Eduardo, "porteño" born in Buenos Aires and architect. Gisele, my wife is Brazilian and journalist. We love Buenos Aires and Rio-, and we try to be in both cities all the times we can.
We live in Monserrat, near San Telmo. We love to dance tango, reading, listening to his music and walk in this city, or bike, because B A is lovely flat. We like the architecture, the history, the tango and the music of this city.
We hope that the apartment taht we rent in Palermo Viejo (now called Soho by the estate) help many people to know Buenos Aires, its people and all the intangibles of this city: the magic of listening to tango, the fascination for the dance, the charm of its streets or parks, delicious bookstores, eclectic architecture of Avenida de Mayo and San Telmo, or the multitude of cafes and small bars, national passion ...
Gisele is also the representative in Buenos Aires of the RentALocalFriend network. She knows the B side of Buenos Aires, and is very good dancer of tango (in a couple of years, also a teacher). If you want to know the city "renting" a local friend, you can look for her refeences in trip advisor or even .
Bienvenidos a Buenos Aires !
