Centrally located in Mid-City. A private room in a 2 bedroom apartment of a 4 unit Spanish-style building. Ground floor. The room is medium-sized, clean with a closet, wood floors, full sized bed, and east-facing windows. I am a seasoned airbnb host, as I have been renting out my previous room for over a year. Please check my past stellar reviews. This place is perfect for the out and about traveler. There is a bus line outside and the place is in between two major streets where there are bus lines to the beach going west and to downtown going east (15-20 mins each way). Easy access to West Hollywood, Hollywood, The Grove, Farmer's Market, Culver City Arts District, LACMA, and the freeway.
Full kitchen access, shared bathroom. High speed internet is included. There are no televisions here.
I am a thirty-something, employed full time locally and have a dark aesthetic; a cemented down traveler, Lisa is a of the same mindset ; currently a student and spends most of her time at school and studying. A beautiful black cat, Nyx lives here, also. She is friendly, but not overbearing and likes to play a lot. Unfortunately, no additional pets can be accommodated. Besides cat food, this is a vegan home. ***No animal products may be cooked here.
There is yard space, but since I've only just moved in, haven't developed it enough to be recreationally habitable.
It is in a culturally diverse residential neighborhood 5 mins. drive from the freeway. There is a grocery store and other shops about 10-15 mins walking and a bank, skate rink, and restaurants about the same distance away.
Smoking is permitted, and drinking and smoking does happen here.

It's an absolute pleasure to leave a positive review for Alex, staying with her was amazing. Myself and a friend had the delight of visiting LA for a week to take in some clubbing and soak up various other nightlife things, and Alex was like a long lost friend that we'd not seen in ages. We sat and chatted music, clubs and life style and very much look forward to keeping in touch with her and crossing paths again.
Her communication prior to arrival was always prompt and detailed and the flat was well equipped for our stay. The room is bright with a good amount of storage space for luggage and hangers. It's not the spic-n-span hotel like feeling, it's a lived in flat, but well decorated and loved - and very comfortable. We felt like we could be ourselves. The location made it easy to get to all the places we were interested in, when the LA transit buses turned up. And much to most peoples surprise, we even caught buses at night; not being concerned with getting back to her area as obviously being a foreigner in unfamiliar surrounding, one must just take extra care, be aware and all is fine.
During the stay she was also extremely helpful and accommodating with detailing information or suggestions, but it was easy to tell that she respected the privacy of her guests as well.
Alex did a great job at just having us feel like treat the flat as our own, coming and going and using the kitchen... though we made small snacks, and kept some perishable in the fridge... the only 'cooking' we did was with Alex at 4am after a club night. Best. Tater. Tots. Ever.
Thank you Alex for making our stay so tremendous, you're certainly engrained with in the memory of the LA experience. Look forward to being able to visit sometime again.
Thank you for everything!
If you take transportation,it's easy for you to get to several scenic spots. The house is very clean and comfortable. Also,Alex and her roommate are very (website hidden) the the way,the cat is super cute.
Alexandra welcomed us nicely, our room was clean, we could use the wifi, cooked our own meals in the kitchen and used the laundry. But we expected cleaner kitchen and bathroom and did not share anything with our host. Nothing comfortable except our room. Nyx the cat was the best host!
The house is conveniently located near the main tourist spots and we could park our car in the street without any problem.
I was in LA to visit some friends and see the sights. This place was perfect because everything I wanted to see was 20 minutes away by car. The area was quite and peaceful and clean. The host were great and friendly.
We were pretty much out the whole day while in Los Angeles. We hardly saw Alexandra or Lisa due to our intense plan of being out and about -and of course they were busy as well. Nyx ,the cat, was an awesome host! The place was clean and the room was fairly spacious as advertised.
Alex and friends are very chill, welcoming, and fun. Alex takes hosting beyond just renting a room. I truly felt like a part of the household. Very clean and organized. My room was big, bed was great, nice closet and dresser to use. Good, convenient neighborhood. Easy parking. Will definitely stay here again when I return in April. Thanks Alex!! :)
Had a lovely stay in sprawling LA. Alexandra was a very chill host, cute cat, quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended!
We needed a place to stay when meeting up with a few friends and Alexandra's place was conveniently located. She welcomed us with a tasty pumpkinbeer and we enjoyed staying in her nicely attired purple/black apartment. Her cat Nyx is a lovely creature and the neighbourhood felt safe. We felt very welcomed!
Nice host. Clean and tidy house. I had a very good time here.
Alexandra has been a wonderful host. She kept the place clean everyday. Even when I had to check out late due to late night Greyhound bus, she was very accommodative and did not charge me for one extra night.
