Located in a quaint neighbourhood at the heart of the city, is the house you can call yours in Lisbon. Carmo is not only a charming area but one of the best locations from were to explore the city! It's quiet, safe and central. You will love it!
Hi I'm Ana, a fine Arts Graduate, part time chef at a vegetarian restaurant and currently a practitioner, in training, of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I live in a charming little apartment in a privileged central location of down-town Lisbon that I have enjoyed sharing with airbnb travellers for 3 years.
On the same building were I live I have a second apartment I keep for friends and family. Whenever I'm are not greeting anyone I make it available for the Airbnb comunity.
My second apartment has 3 bedrooms and a living room, a nicely equipped kitchen and a full bathroom.
You will be given your own set of KEYS on check in, so you can roam in and out freely; You will find the apartment clean, fresh linens in the beds and towels available in each room. There is a closet near the bathroom with toilet paper and some other basics. A HAIR DRYER and IRON are also at you dispose.
Breakfast in not included however I will make sure you have what you need to start your day. You will find an Italian moca coffee machine in the kitchen, organic ground coffee and tees. You will also find basic cooking produce such as olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper.
Check out is at 11h and I need some time to prepare the house for the following guests, therefore check in might not be possible before 14h. Communicate your arrival schedule so we can program your checkin. In case you arrive earlier there is no problem, you can leave your bags, in lockers, at the Rossio train station 3 minutes away. This way you can set out to explore Lisbon upon arrival :)
If i forget anything, please let me know, I'm free creative spirit, to say it in a nice way, and can sometimes be a little distracted ;)
Interaction with Guests
I'm currently engaged in several activities, therefore my availability to hang out, show the cool spots or simply chat with my guests varies a lot. I might not be able to greet you personally, in witch case someone will be there for you in my place. If given the time and opportunity I love to hang out with my guests, get to know then and share my favourite parts of Lisbon.
You couldn't be better located if what you like is to be downtown. We are in a traditional neighborhood close to historical monuments as well as everything that is happening ether nighttime or daytime. Yet our street is calm and quiet so you get the best of two worlds, you are close to the buzz of the city in a street that is more like a village.
Our street leads to a small square animated by street performers and even a flee market on weekends.
We have a nice grocery store on our street, an organic supermarket 3 minutes away, restaurants, bars and great coffee shops just around the corner and, we are as close as we can possibly be to Bairro Alto, the "night district", without actually being in there. We are quietly close to the buzz...
You will be within 3 minutes from the subway station and buses, and we also have the Portuguese old fashion trams circulating around some of the oldest parts of town.
