The Space

Lovely 1 bed apartment in a classic building in the heart of Palermo Soho. In the middle of the 'pulmon de manzana'/interior open space, it is well shielded from any noise from the street. Its high ceilings and wall to wall windows flood the apartment with light to create a beautiful airy space. Lovingly decorated to be a real 'home from home' it is perfect for writers, artists and creative types.

It's a great central location, ideally positioned between Plaza Italia and Plaza Serrano. So you're within easy walking distance of both, but far enough removed to be out of the hustle and bustle. 3 blocks away are all the transport links (subte D and many many bus lines) of Plaza Italia on nearby Santa Fe. You're a short walk to parks, the Botanic Gardens, and of course all Palermo Soho's famous boutiques, restaurants, bars and nightlife are on your doorstep.

Local amenities including supermarkets, organic food shops, restaurants/pubs, discos/bars, ice cream parlours, local internet coffee shops, banks and ATM machines are all within a few blocks.

A very short cab ride away are Las Canitas, with its restaurants, bars and polo fields; the Costanera, with its top nightclubs; Aeroparque Jorge Newberry, the domestic airport; Recoleta, with its lovely architecture and stunning cemetery; and San Telmo, with its historical buildings and markets.

The apartment is 77 square meters, fully furnished, and has a large bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a full bathroom. Very spacious living/dining room with a table for 6, 2 very comfortable sofabeds with coffee table and cable TV and DVD. Has wifi, and ACs in living room and in the bedroom.

For stays of 2 weeks or more there is a maid who comes once a week. Hot water and central heat. Includes bedclothes and towels.

Please make sure to read the House Rules section also.

Check In
  • It was located in a great location that provided great local little coffee places. A few blocks away from the Subte (subway) Plaza Italia stop. Spacious and very inviting. The big windows in the entryway allow for great natural light to come into the living room.

  • Cameron's apartment is even larger than the images included in the profile. It is well located, very sunny, and charming in an Old Palermo way. We especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen.

Cameron, himself, was generous in accommodating our request for an early check-in, and, though out of town, he swiftly answered e-mail queries. At check-out, a friend of Cameron's was kind enough to meet me at the apartment at a very early hour, which I greatly appreciated.

I would gladly return to this beautiful and inspiring space. Many thanks, Cameron,

  • We had a very nice stay. The apartment is perfectly located, in what we after three weeks jugded to be the best part of Buenos Aires. Close to a lot of milongas (La Viruta, Salon Canning, Villa Malcholm, Club Fulgor).

The apartment itself is very spacious, even bigger than we expected from seeing the photos, and very clean and practical. It also has a lot of charm. When large parts of the city suffered blackouts, we were not affected.

Cameron is the perfect host: Professional, reliable and available.

  • Beautiful, spacious apartment with old world architecture in a terrific, lively neighborhood. We literally didn't have to walk more than a couple of blocks to find anything that we needed. The host was professional, friendly, and reliable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

  • Cameron is great. He checks you in and out personally.

The place was clean and bright and in good condition. I highly recommend it.

What would make it a 5 star is if he had some shampoo or soap when you arrive there since you cant bring that on the airport. I left some for the next person :)

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cameron's well located apartment. The apartment is spacious and welcoming, with lots of charm and character. It was very comfortable for our family of 4 and had everything we needed. It is located in a great neighborhood, close to the heart of Palermo Soho boutiques, cafes and restaurants (all within easy walking distance). Catching a taxi right outside the apartment was a breeze. Cameron was very kind and accommodating. He met us at the apartment when we arrived and took time to answer all of our questions to get us started in Buenos Aires, which was greatly appreciated. His list of recommended things to do in the neighborhood and city was great. There are also several useful guidebooks to borrow in the apartment. We highly recommend this apartment and would definitely stay again if we were ever fortunate enough to visit the lovely city of Buenos Aires again.

  • Perfectly located in Palermo Viejo. Near from many places to have brunch, dinner, drinks as well as to shop around. Also just 7 minutes away from Subte Station Plaza Italia.
Atelier is clean, spacious, has everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Cameron was punctual at my arrival and at my departure. Conditions were clear. I asked for an additional cleaning day at half-time of my stay and Cameron organized it without difficulty.
All in all a very good experience.

  • Cameron´s apartment was perfect for the week I spent in Argentina. Spacious, light full and very unique in its antique and traditional Buenos Aires style architecture. Communication was easy and quick. I would definitely recommend it.
