2 bedroom, 1 bathroom Bungalow in North West Denver. This house is located in-between Denver's Sunny Side and Lo Hi neighborhoods. The house is quiet and has plenty of off street parking. It's also just about a 10 dollar cab ride to downtown.
Each bedroom has a queen sized bed so the house comfortably sleeps four. If you have 6 people, there is a pull out sofa with a bed topper. If you have 7 people will will take out some of the furniture and add a twin bed with a real mattress (2 real queen beds, 1 pull out queen bed and the twin bed). If you have 8, we will take out some more furniture and add a queen size inflatable mattress. We are happy to accommodate more than 6, but just remember the house is a bit over 1100 sq ft with one bathroom. So trying to get 8 people ready in the morning will require some coordination. As we take out some of the furniture, you're also converting 'hang out space' into sleeping space. Just a few things to keep in mind.
Sunny Side/Lohi are two of Denver's fastest up and coming neighborhoods and every day it seems like there are more cool, unique places opening up. Our neighborhood has traditionally been a working class neighborhood but is quickly changing into a place where you see lots of families with small children driving Passats and Tueregs.
I am currently in the process of combing two households so if the calendar shows an open date, there shouldn't be any issues. If there are any exceptions you should be able to find them here. Contact me if you intend to stay a week or more. I do (email hidden) with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.
Getting there and away:
If you are looking to head downtown there are multiple back routes for driving so you can miss rush hour on the freeway. After a night on the town a cab is generally $8-15 depending on where you've been.
You're also just a two block walk in each direction from buslines (buses 44 & 52).
In addition to being close to downtown you're just a few minutes away from both I-70, I-25, hwy 36 and 270 interchange . That means that most parts of Denver are just 15-20 minutes away. If you hop on I-70 west you'll be in the mountains in about 30 minutes and the larger ski destinations are just about an hour away.
Please note, for the weekends of May 22-26 (Memorial day) and for June 20-23, we will require a reservation for that entire weekend.
Like most of Denver's city close neighborhoods this area is gentrifying. Houses in this area are constantly being flipped or knocked down to make room for row homes and apartments.
Excellent location and excellent host! Well equipped space, I couldn't ask for anything more!
Great place! Chris (email hidden), he prepared everything we will use in this place. The place is big and clean. I really like its beds, feel so comfortable!!
The house was exactly as described. The location was perfect for us as it was close to many places to sample Denver's eateries. When my grand kids were with us we walked to the nearby park and the Denver Skate Park and the Centennial Park. If I had a bike I could have accessed the downtown. When preparing for a wedding, I found Chris had an iron and ironing board as well as a hair dryer stashed in a closet. Definitely will stay with Chris next time we visit Denver.
What a delightfully neat, clean, comfortable, cute, conveniently-located little bungalow!!! Chris was wonderfully communicative, friendly and generous. Delicious gourmet cupcake awaited us, the linens and towels were so fresh and fluffy, the bed so comfy! He even provided high-end toiletries, which are so handy when you forget the shampoo! The neighborhood is sweet and I felt completely safe. We felt like such welcome guests. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and recommend it highly.
Chris was very quick to answer any time I had a question. He was very accommodating. The neighborhood was nice. My boys (ages seven and nine) made friends with some of the neighborhood kids. The house was great.
I never met the host but Chris is a courteous and generous one! His responses are prompt, his instructions and careful attention to detail made a first AIRBNB stay terrific.
The bungalow itself is equipped for short or long term stay, it's comfortable and it's conveniently located near the downtown of the city of Denver. Clean with keyless entry and ample parking space.
Highly recommend and would stay again.
Chris was fantastic, very communicative and helpful when I had silly questions.
The place is really close to downtown, easy to get to and easy to get in to.
It was also clean, the beds were comfortable, and cupcakes he left for us delicious.
I am really happy with the decision to stay here and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Great value for the money.
Great experience staying in Denver.
This house was great! We will never get a hotel again when visiting Denver. Chris (email hidden), he left cupcakes for our arrival, as well! The house was very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly with a park within walking distance, which was very handy for the kiddos.
Chris was super helpful, and added a lot of niceties that were very special. The home was in a really convenient location in Denver, and immaculate! The beds were so comfy! I will definitely stay here in the future!
