The Space

This is a well lit studio in the premier West Village location of Greenwich Ave between 6th Ave and 7th Ave. Get all the benefits of the West Village and still be sandwiched by the subway lines as you're not too west of 7th Ave.

It is smack dab in the middle of the West Village, and a convenient walk to the Meatpacking, Greenwich Village, Union Square, SoHo, and Chelsea neighborhoods...saving you money on cab fares.

As with all studios in NYC and especially the West Village, these units are on the smaller side (for those coming from cities with large studios). Please read my reviews to confirm that while the unit is small, it is normal for the area and sufficient for a short or extended stay. Heck, I've been living here for the last year and change!

Get access to my Neighborhood Guide highlighting the best that the West Village and surrounding neighborhoods have to offer. For those wanting to experience NYC with some local knowledge, I even have some sightseeing/walking tours I've created for my own friends and family that I can give you...free!

  • Our host Sam was great. We had god and quick communication via mail and he always came back quickly.

The area where the appartment was located was good if you like more relaxed area and nice restaurants - and we did.

  • Sam was a very reliable host. He responded almost immediately to my initial request and questions. He sent very a very detailed account of the apartment, directions, and info on the neighborhood.
    Check-in, check-out went smooth.
And the apartment was perfect for my needs - a central location, near subways, and in my favorite neighborhood. The unit is at the back of the building so very quiet, away from the street noise.

  • Sam was a great host. He was very proactive & responsive to emails and his place is awesome. Great location in the West Village. Everything you could possibly want or need out the door, and also quiet at night inside the apartment. I appreciated his guide-book and instructions that he provides. No complaints here. Thank you Sam!

  • Sam was very helpful and went beyond trying to assisti us with our needs. The studio apartment and neighborhood was as we expected

  • The location of this apartment was brilliant, close to the subway, cafes, bars, restaurants as well as laundry services. We liked being in this part of New York and always felt safe in the neighborhood. The apartment itself was a pleasant place to stay. We especially enjoyed looking out at the trees and watching the squirrels in the courtyard below.

  • Sam made everything as easy as possible. My favorite neighborhood in NYC.

About
I'm a new Yorker for 10 of the last 12 years, but originally a Californian. I consider myself a bit of an NYC travel expert as I've shown my visiting friends and family around dozens of times, and know some very cool quirks and things to see in NYC. So basically, above and beyond hosting a nice studio in the best location in the city...you get a concierge.
