Amazing apartment! Right in the centre and very easy to get to places! Very clean and accommodating and the terrace is beautiful! would definitely stay here again! Marie was amazing very kind and understanding when we had our bags stolen with the key inside and she met us to give us a spare! Amazing!
Flat was perfect location for our weekend break, right at bottom of las ramblas. Flat itself was ideal and balcony was superb much bigger than pics looked. If Im in Barcelona again would love to stay here. Marie was really helpful and if we had any problems was only a phone call away.
L'appart de Marie est très sympa, très bien placé près de la rambarde ce qui explique le prix un peu élevé.
Marie a été très accueillante et nous a filé des bons plans resto.
We stayed at Marie's apartment for 5 days in May with baby of 1,5 year old. The apartment is perfect for us: 2 bedrooms for us and for baby, living room, fantastic terrace - large with dinner table, coach and gammack; equipped kitchen, washing mashine. There is an elevator in the building. The location is really the best - old city center, cutadelia park, the port and the beach within minutes of walk; many supermarkets around. Marie as a host is great, I am sincerely grateful to her for her imidiate readiness to help when we left the key in the cafe and couldn't enter the apartment. We would surely choose this place again to stay in Barcelona.
We had a lovely stay at Marie and Jo's flat. The flat was ideally located for is in the gothic quarter, not far from el Born where there were some great restaurants, la Rambla, the marina and the beach. If you any to be a proper tourist, it is also nearby one of the stops on the Barcelona city bus circuit. The flat was light, clean and the terrace was lovely during the day for sunbathing and during the eve for a bit of time out. We had a problem with the shower but it was fixed overnight. The bedroom is very small but you only need it to bed down at night, it's not too bad. There is not a huge amount of luggage space or hanging space but again, not a deal breaker. On this occasion we didn't actually met Marie and Jo but we enjoyed their flat all the same and they were fairly responsive when it came to our questions about the local area. Would stay again!
Great location in barcelona! Close to everything and short walk to metro for farther sights. Marie was very friendly and helpful.
About the Host, Marie
Hi, my name is Marie and I was born in Paris.
I enjoy learning new things, meeting new people, discovering new landscapes and find cultural differences fascinating. The way I imagined my life changed dramatically after I went to India and spend 2 month in an Ashram helping leprosy sufferers and some more time travelling around.
Currently leaving in Barcelona, my flat is open to anyone looking for a cosy place and I am personnally a great consumer of the Airbnb experience.
My favorite quote is from Oscar Wilde:
"We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars"
