Thessaloniki ( 520 km. north of Athens ) is the second largest town of Greece and the most important centre of the area. Built near the sea ( at the back of the Thermaïkos Gulf ) , it is a modern metropolis bearing the marks of its stormy history and its cosmopolitan character, which give it a special beauty and charm.
You should definitely visit The White Tower which is the symbol of Thessaloniki. This is a 33,90m high, circular tower with a diameter of 22,70m. It has six floors that connect to each other with stairs. The last floor has a terrace that offers a wonderful view of the town.

The flat is in a run down area of Thessaloniki. It has no doorbell outside so that visitors cant ring you when inside. The pluming is terrible and after a request for it to be fixed we where ignored by the owner. Other that that is is a nice spacious, clean, spacious and economical solution if you want to live near the centre of Thessaloniki
Everything was perfect- excellent house and host! The apartment is just as described in the site. There are two separate bedrooms, big sofa in the living room( can accommodate two more people) and extra single bed in one of the bedrooms.
Everything went great and we really have no complaints at all...
The only bad thing is the neighbourhood, but we didn't have any problems with that.
Thank you Litsa and Mimi!
Awesome apartment! Kitchen was equipped with everything you could ever need to prepare meals, bake, etc. The bathroom has a huge bathtub with a rain shower head. Both bedrooms are spacious with tons of space for your personal belongings. And let's not forget the ENORMOUS balcony with a view of the sea. We absolutely loved staying here and felt right at home. Mimi was very helpful and took the time to walk us through every detail of the place.
As for Thessaloniki, what a great city. Beautiful walkway next to the sea. Great restaurants and bars, including our favorite "Wonder Wall". We loved our time here and highly recommend it to everyone!
Litsa's sister Mimi was very friendly and prompt when meeting us. The apartment is very spacious and has a great terrace (would be great for the summer months). It is not in the center but it was at a 15-20 minute walk and there is also a bus. Since it was very cold in the city, it is worth noting that the apartment was overall warm and has an AC. However, the room with the 1 bed was quite cold so two people ended up sleeping on the living room sofa which was comfortable enough (we were a total of 6 people).
The apartment was fairly nice.
It was though, not brand new, it was probably fitted out in (phone number hidden), based on the wear and tear on the walls, fittings, kitchen, etc.
I didn't really like it though, for the following reasons:
it is in a terrible neighborhood. This area is famous for prostitution and drug dealing. At night you can literally see transgender prostitutes and drug deals happening from the balcony. All of the red light brothels and strip clubs are within walking distance, so if you are into that sort of thing, I suppose its convenient, though I am not.
The apartment also smelled of a heavy artificial plug in perfume, and I think maybe the couch or other fabric surfaces were cleaned with a spray on and leave on freshener like "febreeze", (or similar brand used in europe).
The kitchen was attractive, though I didn't use it, other than the sink, which didn't have a pullout spray and is difficult to clean if you use it .
It does have a partial sea view.
The underground parking is convenient, and a must in that neighborhood.
The bathroom tub has no shower door or anything else to prevent water from splashing around.
The reservation was canceled 56 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
The apartment is big, new and equipped with all the comforts. The third bedroom is a bit small but there is a huge and confortable sofa if you need more space. If you have a car it's perfect as you can park the car in a private parking lot. The owner and Mimi were very nice and we had a very nice stay.
