Our quiet and spacious house provides a very comfortable place to rest after a busy day in the mountains or in the city. The (extra large) California king size bed is electrically adjustable at the push of a button for the perfect position desired.

The Space

Approximately 25 minutes (south) from Salt Lake City International Airport (take I-15 to Sandy). If you need transportation please let me know and I will be delighted to assist you.

The house is very clean, private and quiet (there is no street noise). There are no children and no pets in the house. The views of the Wasatch Mountains (from the house or the porch) are spectacular.

The private bedroom, two bathrooms (one bathroom has a Jacuzzi), two living room areas, and two nice and well equipped kitchens provide very comfortable accommodations. New furniture and new decor add beauty to the interior of the house. Stay one day, one week, or longer. (Cooking items: pots, pans, etc., and appliances: refrigerators, microwaves, etc., plus: silverware, electric grill, coffee makers, dishes and all other kitchen utensils are for you to use as needed.)

This is an upscale and well maintained property. It is an ELEGANT and BEAUTIFUL house, area and neighborhood. Wireless high-speed internet is included. Easy 10-15 min access to ski resorts (Alta and Snowbird), Argosy University, South Towne Exposition Center, stadium; good central location to everything Salt Lake City has to offer. Approximately 20 minutes from Temple Square, University of Utah, Gateway Mall, Creek City Shopping Center, and down town Salt Lake City (take I-15 North from Sandy).

Only 40-50 minutes from Canyons Resort, Park City Mountain Ski Resort and Deer Valley Ski and Summer Resort! Established community, magnificent vistas of the Wasatch Mountains and easy access to all mountain sports (skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, camping, kayaking, rafting, etc.).

Walmart, Smith's, Home Depot, Lowe's, Fresh Market, South Towne Mall, and many other stores are located within 5-10 minute drive. Public transportation, gym, pool, recreation centers, churches, and parks are within walking distance from the house.

No smoking, pets, drugs, parties (in the house). Laundry, NEW CENTRAL AIR, off-street parking, fireplace, wood floors. House is equipped with "green" lighting system, very safe, secure and environmentally responsible.

The closest hiking trail (about 2 miles from the house) will lead you into the heart of Bell Canyon where awesome views of mountain lakes, waterfalls and panoramic vistas of Salt Lake City invite you to experience nature in all its glory.

This is a special notice to guests who might be extremely sensitive to noise. The house is very quiet most of the time. Although, you might hear occasionally a person coming in or out of the house. I have never had anybody complain about the noise, except some people who have special needs. Please understand that I am not able to accommodate any such special needs or requirements.

In addition, there are a few stairs to one of the bedrooms. They are not steep. They are very easy to walk. Nobody has ever complained about this, except some people who have special needs. I cannot provide a wheel chair, or any walking devices (electronic or otherwise). However, I can help you with your luggage, if desired.

The bathrooms in the house are for your use (two bathrooms). They are always very clean. I cannot offer one bathroom exclusively to one guest. Please understand that the bathrooms are shared with one more guest room.

I prefer to know the approximate time of your arrival. You are welcome to call, e-mail or text message me the pertinent information so that I can assist you upon arrival.

I interact with guests as often as needed. Since I live in the house as well, I am available to assist guests. I meet guests personally and welcome them to our house, neighborhood, city, and provide any information guests desire.

  • I had a very pleasent stay with Adrian. He takes great pride in his home. He makes you feel like its your home away from home. He is also a great support.

  • We arrived very tired after a long drive and although we were able to get very close to his house from his directions, we called him and he was able to guide us in. Adrian met us with a warm smile and was engaging right off.
The room was quiet and dark, which was exactly what we needed. The bed was out of this world. Adrian said it was a Californian King size, and it certainly was big.
Adrian was also very good at explaining the sights. He directed us to a restaurant nearby and the cuisine lived up to his recommendation.
We overslept, arising around 11.00AM, Adrian had the coffee ready.
He has invited us to return in the winter , which we would like to do.
A variety of coffee was offered.

  • Our first experience with Airbnb! The space was amazing and well decorated. We were able to make a full, home-cooked Italian meal in the upstairs kitchen. Adrian was awesome and so helpful. He was a fun character in our little adventure! Thanks Adrian!

  • I stayed at Adrian's place for 4 nights. Most of my travel is adventure based (e.g., hiking, paragliding, etc...) so I do not spend a ton of time where I am staying. But, the time I do stay there is important to me as I always want to be well rested. Clearly, I was very well rested each night at Adrian's. The host (Adrian) was very communicative and accommodating. I had a delayed flight and arrived late and Adrian adapted to that schedule without any issue. The host was very warm and informative during the entire stay. The bed was very comfortable and the entire house was spotless. My expectations were exceeded. The location is in a quiet residential part of Sandy and it was very quiet, all of the time. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience for me and I highly recommend staying at Adrian's. When traveling to SLC, I will most certainly book with him again.

  • I was looking for an inexpensive, but comfortable and clean, place to stay while skiing at Snowbird. This place really fit the bill. It's only about 15 minutes from Snowbird, and is close to shopping malls and restaurants. My bedroom was clean and relatively spacious. Adrian was a great host and was able to give me some good tips about skiing at Snowbird. If I ever go to Salt Lake City to ski again, I'd definitely consider staying with Adrian again.

  • Great place to stay if you are looking to go skiing as it's only 30/45 minutes away from most resorts - Adrian is a very friendly and gracious host

  • From the beginning Adrian was most helpful with giving us information on where to dine, ski, the road conditions etc. He is a super friendly guy who loves to share his love of Utah with you. The room is nice and big, with a very comfortable king bed. The bathroom is off the kitchen area and is spacious. Adrian is a very considerate and respectful host with a warm and welcoming style. He will work well with your schedule and your needs. We have found our friendly place to stay when we come back for future skiing. The location to shops, restaurants, SLC is fantastic and the mountains are literally out the back door. You can easily drive to Little or Big Cottonwood Resorts within 20 mins. The UTA bus service works well too.

  • Adrian was a great host. Friendly and accommodating, and he even picked me up when I got stranded at Snowbird!

    March 2014
  • Adrian went out of his way to be a great host for my stay. He had plenty of tips about the area, when to arrive at ski resorts, where to park, etc. He and his wife also went out of their way to invite me into their home. The amenities are nice: beds were comfortable, cooking supplies and dinnerware were available. Next time I'm in Utah, I'll definitely see if Adrian has availability.

Recreation / Tourism
One of the most rewarding compliments I received, when asking a guest if he enjoyed his stay with us, was that "you have exceeded my expectations." In addition to hosting you, I would like to introduce you to a variety of active recreational activities such as skiing, hiking, biking, camping, kayaking, canoeing, rafting, etc., which will "make your active recreation an unforgettable vacation." This is my vision/mission and my business is built to reflect this mantra in everything we do. I invite you to visit our 14 ski resorts and 5 national parks in Utah, plus one of the 7 natural wonders of the world: "The Grand Canyon" (across from Southern Utah). They are beckoning you to experience the majesty of nature in all its glory. Contact me when you are ready to "make your active recreation an unforgettable vacation." ******* I have traveled many times to Europe (at least 17 times) and I have lived there 19 years, so I understand the travel industry very well. Plus, with another 19 years working from the U.S. to various parts of the world, traveling has become my specialization. Hence, it is a pleasure to assist you in taking your vacation and/or visit to the next level. In my global travels to Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South and Central America I have made numerous friends, while visiting people and staying in their homes, the same way AirBnB provides this experience for you. Some guests ask that we become friends on social media web sites and we keep in touch. They have invited me to visit them, their country and get to know their culture. I love this positive interaction through the AirBnB portal and continued networking for mutual enrichment. Therefore, I assure you that I am excited to meet you (and get to know you, if possible). It is always a joy to hear from my friends, no matter what language they speak and cultural background or country they come from. While I was in college I studied tourism and business and I have learned several foreign languages. It would be a delight to welcome you in your language of choice, if you so desire (check with me about which language you prefer to speak). Throughout my global business career I have learned a few things about how to help people have a truly unforgettable vacation. This is why I want to assist you not only to save money, but to have an outstanding vacation or traveling experience. If you desire or need transportation, and/or want to learn to ski or simply need help to enhance your visit, please do not hesitate to let me know. I have already helped hundreds of people, and it would be a pleasure to assist you as well. ******* My wife speaks both Spanish and Portuguese very well since she is from South America. If you need assistance in any of these languages, you are welcome to contact me in your language of choice. ******* Thank you, in advance, for your visit. I am looking forward to meeting you very soon.
