I didn't get the room I booked, Rachael asked me to pay more by cash for another room which seems less comfortable than the one I was suppose to have.
Florent and us agreed to stay in our friend 's guest house before we accepted the booking. We just want to help him to get a room on that day. We told him our friend 's guest room is more expensive than us and he needed to pay the balance during check in. He accepted before we accepted his booking. Finally he just paid less than the half of the balance as he didn 't get enough cash. We even paid the balance for him and didn 't complain him. We are deeply disappointed. Not remommend him to anyone. He can tell another story when he doesn 't like it.
Rachel was very friendly and helpful for my stay. The room was somewhat compact, but I suppose that is typical for central Hong Kong. It was clean and tidy and just what I needed for a short stop.
awesome host, very accommodating and patient with an inexperienced air bnb-er. rooms are clean and decently sized for a solo traveler. very close to Jordan train station.
Rachael was more than accommodating. Super friendly, with helpful suggestions for neighbourhood recommendations. The room itself was as simple as shown. Small, clean, and complete with a brand new toothbrush. See? I TOLD you she was nice.
The room no 10 which is located close to the Yau Mei tei was very convenient and located close to the MTR and bus station thus easy to commute....however the room is too small for avg. sized Indians but was clean and Rachael was very (email hidden)e had provided us the microwave thus it was very convenient to cook... however except for space rest of the other facilities were good... It is highly recommended.....
Danny (Rachel's partner) has (email hidden), he welcomed us with great hospitality despite having some communications problems as we could not understand cantonese. He has been very patience and we really love the room. His room is clean and spacious for 2 occupants and for the price we are paying for, we find it value for money. His room is definitely our first choice in the list if we were to visit Hongkong again! :)
Rachael was very nice. She met us at the Bank of China which is about 50 ft from the building. She took some time to explain things and gave us some great suggestions where to eat in the area. Rachael's place was very nice and exactly what we expected. It is small but all the space needed for two people. It has a bed which is big enough for two average sized people, air con, combo shower and washroom, kettle, blow dryer, and tv. As per another review, the walls are thin, but we never had any issues. It is extremely convenient as the A21 airport bus drops off and picks up within a block or so. Also Jordan MTR is only 2 blocks away which will get you anywhere you want to go in Kowloon or HK. There are also many delicious places to eat nearby. When we left, David met us at the apatment when we were scheduled to check out and made the process very easy. We have already recommended the place to a friend and we would have no hesitations about staying again. During our stay, we had a problem getting the hot water shower heater to work so we emailed Rachael and David. When we got back from a long day, the problem was taken care of for us. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
The room was OK! Quite good privacy (since it works more like a small hotel, hosts are not actually there - but you can contact them when needed - , and private bathroom is always worth it. The only bad thing was the lack of a window, but anyway the room had ventilation and air conditioning system so it doesn't smell like closed and things like that (so the only actual problem is that you can't look through a window, but don't worry, you got a TV)
