Lisa is a great host and South Tabor is a great neighborhood. We wanted to stay in town one more night after a family wedding. The tiny house was relaxing and comfortable. The fabulous breakfast Lisa brought to our door the next morning sustained us for our long day of travel back to Michigan.

The cottage is small, but it was perfect for what my husband and I needed. Lisa is a gracious hostess, and the breakfast each morning was outstanding: highly recommend.

Loved this place. Great location in a neighborhood, close to the bus so it was easy to get downtown.

Had a great time in this well situated tiny house. While not in the center of town, it is walking distance to a coffee house, pizza, and a BBQ restaurant. It is in quiet residential area in SE Portland and it took us only 15 minutes to get to the airport. We got a "tiny house" with a large walkable sleeping loft without the hassle of a ladder as it had stairs instead.

Beyond adorable little cottage. The whole place is very welcoming and feels like coming home. The bed was very comfortable, not some cheap spring mattress but an actual quality bed. We will 100% be looking to book this again next time we are down in the portland area.

What a brilliant idea to turn your children's old fort into a tiny house for guests/Airbnb! It's an amazing value. The neighborhood is terrific - a wonderful sense of community and very close to the enormous Mt Tabor park, where we hiked with our dog. We didn't get to try the breakfast that Lisa prepares (and everyone here raves about) because she was out of town but there's an excellent coffee place nearby - Rain or Shine - with a full menu for both breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend. The house had everything we needed. It's definitely tiny - I think about 300 sq ft or so - the size of a regular hotel room but over 2 levels. For one night it was perfect and we were very comfortable (2 adults and our 50 lb dog who slept in her crate downstairs). The bed is extremely comfy! Lisa was a terrific hostess, very responsive and friendly. We'd highly recommend this place.

I am a retired clinical social worker ~ I worked for 20 years in local hospitals and live with my husband (who is a soon to be retired RN). We also have a "Schnoodle" rescue doggie Davy-Jones, who monitors the neighborhood from his perch a top the couch. Our two "twenty-something" sons reportedly live with us, but we rarely see them, lol! We've lived two decades here in the South Tabor neighborhood of Portland. Tom and I met twenty some ago while attending the University of Puerto Rico, and we love traveling, as well as opening up our backyard cottage & meeting new people! There are some great walking trails - a couple of my favorites are walking on nearby Mt. Tabor park with views of the whole city. I also enjoy the trail next to the Columbia River. There are also plenty of fantastic places to eat in Portland & the food carts are really innovative!

My hero is Eleanor Roosevelt, I can't seem to get enough of the color RED. In everything. I live for my art journaling group: aka: a bunch of sassy women who meet once a week to do fabulous art & then go out to happy hour afterwards~lol!
My husband is my best friend on earth, followed closely by my dad & fabulously unique sister who (unlike me) mows her lawn in high heels and mini skirts! My folks and siblings all live close by, many generations Oregonians are we all & are happy to welcome you to this great state!!!
Years ago my parents used to own a popular local restaurant with lunch and dinner lines going out the door. I suppose it's how I'm hardwired.... Some people do yoga to relax, I cook write & paint to relax, LOVE it!!! I'm excited to welcome you to THIS particular part of your awesome adventures in traveling, I love meeting guests who are embarking on all kinds of adventurers :-D
