Cute little Tiny House! It used to be our boys' fort when they were young, now it is a comfortable little retreat for adventurers exploring Portland!
1) If you have a pet, please be sure it has been treated within the last 10 days with a PRESCRIPTION STRENGTH ANTI-FLEA treatment! This is important, thank you very much for your understanding. Also clean up after pets in yard, as needed .
2) We have awesome neighbors (except one nutty neighbor~lol) and have never had any difficulties with them with street parking, but as a courtesy to them, we ask that cottage guests please park in our driveway or in front of our house (not in front of neighbor's houses) thank you!!!!
2) Of course, only smoke outdoors, and dispose of cigarettes properly, thanks!

I am a retired clinical social worker ~ I worked for 20 years in local hospitals and live with my husband (who is a soon to be retired RN). We also have a "Schnoodle" rescue doggie Davy-Jones, who monitors the neighborhood from his perch a top the couch. Our two "twenty-something" sons reportedly live with us, but we rarely see them, lol! We've lived two decades here in the South Tabor neighborhood of Portland. Tom and I met twenty some ago while attending the University of Puerto Rico, and we love traveling, as well as opening up our backyard cottage & meeting new people! There are some great walking trails - a couple of my favorites are walking on nearby Mt. Tabor park with views of the whole city. I also enjoy the trail next to the Columbia River. There are also plenty of fantastic places to eat in Portland & the food carts are really innovative!
My hero is Eleanor Roosevelt, I can't seem to get enough of the color RED. In everything. I live for my art journaling group: aka: a bunch of sassy women who meet once a week to do fabulous art & then go out to happy hour afterwards~lol!
My husband is my best friend on earth, followed closely by my dad & fabulously unique sister who (unlike me) mows her lawn in high heels and mini skirts! My folks and siblings all live close by, many generations Oregonians are we all & are happy to welcome you to this great state!!!
Years ago my parents used to own a popular local restaurant with lunch and dinner lines going out the door. I suppose it's how I'm hardwired.... Some people do yoga to relax, I cook write & paint to relax, LOVE it!!! I'm excited to welcome you to THIS particular part of your awesome adventures in traveling, I love meeting guests who are embarking on all kinds of adventurers :-D
