Platon is incredible! The most kind, helpful, and fun hosts I've ever had on airbnb. He seems to constantly fill the apartment with curious, adventurous, and musical people. One of my first days he surprised me with a delicious cretian salad, and that was only the beginning of a 2 week stay, where I came to feel more at home than I could have ever imagined. Raki, his dog, is the best. There are plenty of chances to take her out for a walk if you so choose and she is a wonderful companion to walk the streets of xania on a nice summer night. I would come back to platon's place in a second if and when I return to xania. Thank you Platon!
Platon is a lovely and generous person. He offered to let me stay late and leave my things. The flat is an inexpensive option in a very expensive town, and close to everything (10 min walk to historic, touristy area). It is also quite a lovely old apartment, full of books and antique fixtures. The room was shared, something I wasn't clear on until I arrived. No ac. There is, however, good ventilation. I would def stay again.
We had a nice stay at Platopn's apartment although the description was not really accurate. We thought we were renting the entire place but when we arrived we ended up sharing the place with other people. Also, there was no air conditionner as it was indicated on the listing and it was very hot. Other than that Platon is a nice host and easy to communicate with. I would recommend staying at his place if you look for a cheap alternative.
