    Response from Karen:

I am sorry that you where surprised that there was only one full bath ,the description of the property state 1 full bath, we have discussed and may at some point and time update the cottage with another full bath, but not in the near future.
We do have the main property available to book and it is featured on Airbnb as well that has 2 full baths and plenty of bedrooms and space. Perhaps on your next visit you would want to book the main house titled "The Highview"

With regards to the pricing, I am rather new to Airbnb, I have been using another site that looks for the owners to quote the stay. Airbnb uses my pricing and then charges for the use of the site .
Lesson learned : I will not quote pricing when inquiries are coming from Airbnb.

  • Great cottage with quick access to Sugarbush and a beautiful decor. Karen even made us a delicious pie for our welcome! We had a group of 5 (two couples and a friend) and it was a really wonderful time.

When temperatures are extremely low (-10F!) there are a few quirks about the house but Karen and Bob were very kind about explaining how to keep everything OK. They were also expedient about responding to the minor issues we had. We would definitely stay again. Great weekend overall!

  • My friends and I had the best time in the White Birch Cottage! Karen was a wonderful host - she is friendly and accessible, and has a gorgeous piece of property in close proximity to both MRG and Sugarbush. She was ready for us when we got there, answered every question we had, and even left us with a stellar apple pie as a welcome gift. We were able to use the house phone (no cell service!) to check in with friends who were navigating the snowy roads to and from the Cottage, which was very generous.

The road is best with a 4WD, and though I did manage to make my way with a regular old sedan, it wasn't the best of scenarios for a surprise evening snowstorm.

The Cottage itself is beautiful and extremely well kept. Karen has thought of everything, from tubs for wet ski gear to slippers for each guest to wear in the house. The kitchen and living space is all totally modern, and everything was cozy, clean, and comfortable. We were there with 7 women total, and could have easily accommodated an eighth, as long as you are flexible using the one bathroom. No shortage of hot water, towels, or beds for anyone.

    Highly recommend it!
