About This Listing
Our Lake Tahoe Sanctuary is beautifully situated on the lake with a few gorgeous and tall pine trees dotting the land around it. A very warm, welcoming home where you can completely relax and where it seems like time stands still. Perfectly located in Kings Beach just a short minute walk from the beach and a short drive to major ski resorts like Northstar and Mt. Rose, this home is ideal for couples, families or friends looking for some R&R. With a private pier looking out onto the entire lake, you can grab a glass of wine or some warm tea and watch the sun set behind the mountains as the lake changes its colors. There are also restaurants and bars nearby for food and drink. It has been a magical spot for us and believe it will be the same for you.
The house itself has three well sized bedrooms with queen beds, a pull out couch and another couch that can sleep one more. It has a fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, storeroom to store your gear in and a heart shaped tub to soothe your muscles. It has two large decks and TV/cable. It also has wifi and a fireplace. Throughout the house is art work and beautiful rugs. It feels like a home and you can make it your own. Stay for two nights or more and enjoy.
Price is all inclusive except for a $150 cleaning fee.
There is a manual at the house to let you know about different details of the house.
We really enjoy our stay in Kings Beach despite the rainy weather. The beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. We enjoyed the fireplace every day and had our meals out on the patio when weather permitted: The kitchen was well stocked (although the oven seems to be (email hidden) had to be adjusted to 200 degrees in order to avoid burning food within minutes). We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arose! Beautiful views and quaint area to explore.
A very nice appartment next to the lake. It was not as clean (towels lying around, some trash) as expected (kitchen, bath) and the beds were unprepared. I expect more for a 150.- $ cleaning fee. Despite that, its an amazing place!
Had a wonderful weekend celebrating my 30th birthday with family and friends. Tania and Philip's place is darling, full of charm and very cozy. We enjoyed happy hour out on the pier each night and watched the sunset. Tania was also SO easy to get ahold of via email. I have no complaints, we had a wonderful experience staying here.
