Our Lake Tahoe Sanctuary is beautifully situated on the lake with a few gorgeous and tall pine trees dotting the land around it. A very warm, welcoming home where you can completely relax and where it seems like time stands still. Perfectly located in Kings Beach just a short minute walk from the beach and a short drive to major ski resorts like Northstar and Mt. Rose, this home is ideal for couples, families or friends looking for some R&R. With a private pier looking out onto the entire lake, you can grab a glass of wine or some warm tea and watch the sun set behind the mountains as the lake changes its colors. There are also restaurants and bars nearby for food and drink. It has been a magical spot for us and believe it will be the same for you.
The house itself has three well sized bedrooms with queen beds, a pull out couch and another couch that can sleep one more. It has a fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, storeroom to store your gear in and a heart shaped tub to soothe your muscles. It has two large decks and TV/cable. It also has wifi and a fireplace. Throughout the house is art work and beautiful rugs. It feels like a home and you can make it your own. Stay for two nights or more and enjoy.
Price is all inclusive except for a $150 cleaning fee.
There is a manual at the house to let you know about different details of the house.
Had a wonderful weekend celebrating my 30th birthday with family and friends. Tania and Philip's place is darling, full of charm and very cozy. We enjoyed happy hour out on the pier each night and watched the sunset. Tania was also SO easy to get ahold of via email. I have no complaints, we had a wonderful experience staying here.
We had an awesome time at Tania and Philip's place in King's Beach. The house lived up to the expectations from the photos. Good-sized rooms with comfortable beds, a solid kitchen and great view of the lake. Everything went according to plan.
Great condo right in the lake. Three spacious bedrooms and a big common area. Beautiful kitchen and fast internet too
We just got back from a 4 day weekend and were very happy with the house. The location is perfect - 10 minutes from Northstar (which would have been even better had there been snow!) and walkable to a lot of restaurants etc. in KB. We got off to a bit of a rocky start because there was a problem with the furnace, but Philip and Tania were on top of it. The property manager arrived within a couple of hours to deliver a space heater, and an electrician arrived the next day (although unfortunately the repairs could not be made during our stay). They responded to my texts almost immediately and couldn't have been nicer about it.
The house itself was great, plenty of room for everyone and stocked with the basics you would expect in the kitchen, bath etc. There were some toiletries around but I would advise packing for that as if there were none. There is a Safeway a few minutes away and we stocked up on everything there, including firewood which is not provided.
I would say the house is "kid-friendly" for older children. I have a 2 and 4 year old and we did ok. Thankfully I messaged Philip and Tania before we arrived and knew that I had to pack my own entertainment for them (toys, games, books etc.). Also, beware there are stairs up to the main level and down to the bedrooms so if you have crawlers or inexperienced walkers you might want to consider bringing a baby gate.
The house manual was not that helpful and needs to be updated with the accurate wi-fi info and it would have been nice to have more information on how to work the tv/cable etc. I would definitely go back, especially during the summer to enjoy the easy access to the pier/beach.
Overall we loved the home and thought it was an excellent value for what you get.
This place is ideally located. The view from the window on the lake is priceless. Tania answered all my questions almost immediately and when we had a small issue with the house's thermostat she had the building manager bring a space heater within an hour.
I would recommend that place to anyone.
Lovely home with a breathtaking views of the lake, cozy warm fireplace, and excellent proximity to Northstar. We enjoyed our stay and had a great snowy Christmas.
Tania and Philip were great hosts. They sent us detailed instructions about everything and were upfront honest about all the amenities. The house was perfect as seen in pictures and had everything we could think of. The kitchen was fully stocked. I had a good time with my friends.

This summer, we won't be here but our lovely friend and very cool person, Maya, will be watching over the house and welcoming you...
