The Space

Home to an eclectic mix of writers, artists and intellectuals, the bohemian quarter of Cihangir is fast becoming one of Istanbul's most fashionable.like Soho in New York and Montmartre in Paris.
A maze of brightly-colored stuccoed facades; the tree-lined streets of Cihangir play host to a buzzing cafe culture and a jumble of galleries, vintages stores, restaurants and chic boutiques.

You will feel like in your flat in this lovely neighbourhood of İstanbul. The flat has everything you need. Fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room, a study room with computer and a bedroom
quiet and (email hidden) back yard. Also it is on the main street SIRA SELVİLER and 5 minç to Taksim and famous street İstiklal. 10 min. to Tophane tram and İstanbul modern museum.

There is wifi , AC,Cable TV and music system. Linens and towels are provided. At the kitchen there is dish washer, washing machine, coffee maker, stove and grill.

Also NIKKEN water filter, matress at the flat.

I welcome you and be sure that you are ok and giving your keys and a small tour around the neighbourhood.

So looking forward to see you in Cihangir. :))

Check In
  • I highly recommend this Cihingir flat for anyone looking to stay in the best part of Istanbul. The highlight is the location, which is in a safe trendy area, close walking distance to many bars, restaurants, and sites. The flat is large and airy, tastefully decorated. The bed is super comfortable. The only suggestion for improvement is to repair the leaking shower, which would be a simple alterations.

Our host Zarifi was friendly and understanding. Although we didn't see her aside from check in and check out, we trusted her advice on cool sites and cafes and were not lead astray. Thanks for helping to make our trip wonderful!

  • Very good appartment, clean, full of books, cds, in a very quiet and cute zone of istanbul (Cihangir), very close to a supermarket and to the excellent Savoy pastry.
Zarifi was friendly and always helpful.
A great solution to spend some days in the city.

  • Great host! Waited for us when our flight was late and we had no way of contacting her. She took us around the neighborhood and even bought us a few snacks to get us going in the apartment. Easy to contact via email, which was great for answering all of our questions. Apartment was in a great location on the top floor (steep staircase). On a busy road, but the bedroom is in the back, so we had no problem sleeping. Easy, but hilly, walk to the metro. Lots of great cafes all around, and a grocery store directly across the street. Super comfy couch, water filter, little balcony out back, just awesome!

  • The apartment is very cosy and comfortable in definitely the best area in Istanbul, Cihangir! Great for resting and enjoying the city.
Zarifi is a friendly and warm person, very trustworthy and careful. She gave us useful tips and information about Istanbul and made us feel home.

  • Great apartment. I really felt like at home. I have to spend long periods in Istanbul, and staying in a hotel gets really boring, So, I decided to try staying in an apartment for one week, and I have to say that coming back from the office to such a nice and cosy place was just awesome.

  • Amazing apartment. Everything you could need (kitchen, cute balcony, a sofa that eats you) and more (high tech water filter system and mattress!) We became instantly jealous of the lives of the people who live here. Incredible location bang in the middle of Cihangir - the bobo neighbourhood where life seems to happen on the street, friendly too with fabulous well established local institutions interspersed with uber trendy hangouts - a bit like the nicer cafes in Dalston, London, without so many of the t*ssers and in a far superior location! And finally Zarifi could not have been a better host - efficient, responsive and a local tour guide, plenty of tips for anything we wanted to do; Hammam, eat fish, gigs etc. and so sweet on the first evening greeting us with beer and snacks.

Hi, When I first joined airbnb, I wasn't thinking it would mean that much to me. Now I feel like I am totally involved in it. Getting to know new people, welcoming them, helping and guiding them in my local area is wonderful. Like a big family :)
