While we’ve made every effort to create a cozy and refined atmosphere, this is still the great outdoors, and you may encounter the vibrant local wildlife and scenery that make this area so special.
Nature All Around: Expect to see the awe-inspiring beauty of the Hill Country, along with occasional visits from friendly bugs or even glimpses of deer, coyotes, or other local wildlife. For those who enjoy true outdoor experiences, you might even hear the distant howls of coyotes or spot the region's local wildlife, including scorpions, snakes, spiders, tarantulas, and more. We recommend bringing a headlamp and/or flashlight for nighttime walks, as the starlit Texas sky can get beautifully dark.
Scenic Trails and Seasonal Creek: There’s a scenic, 10-minute trail to a seasonal creek where you can relax by a peaceful gazebo, listen to the gentle falls, or even take a refreshing dip. We suggest close-toed shoes and pants when exploring the grounds to make the most of your time outdoors.

Nice gourmet grocery store (Brookshire Brothers) nearby for any supplies you may need as well as restaurants and bars. There is also BEAUTIFUL, free public access to Canyon Lake and The Guadalupe River only 8 minutes away.
Wimberley (15 minutes)
The charming, artistic town on the water is just a short drive around the "devils backbone." The drive there from here is breathtaking. There are lots of great restaurants, shops, bars, and charming Texas culture. You can stop at the Devils Backbone Tavern to get to know the locals and have a drink with a view or enjoy seasonal outdoor movies at the Corral Theater. Also known for "Wimberley Market Days" if you're a lover of eclectic shopping.
Water (5-40 minutes depending)
We are surrounded by water, whether your prefer a river, a lake, or a spring-fed pool, there are so many options for all type of experiences. We are close to Canyon Lake, Jacobs Well, The Blue Hole, Blanco River, and Guadalupe River ("Horseshoe" spot for tubing).

Huge outlet mall for all your 'brand-name' shopping needs as well as river access.
Gruene and New Braunfels (30 minutes)
Lovely historic little town, home to Gruene Hall, a historic music venue which has live music almost every night of the week. Antique stores, great restaurants, river views, A Texas-sized spring-fed pool, beautiful parks, Schlitterbahn waterpark.
Too many to mention, but we also are located near some great local Breweries, Vineyards, distilleries, and farmers markets.

My husband Andres and I are the parents of two beautiful little boys and owners of a business that brings outdoor, free, and family-friendly dance parties to cities around the US with a 1969 Airstream. We live on 10 acres and love outdoor adventures and traveling to unique places around the world. We are a very clean, tidy, and easy-going family when being hosted and when we host, we try to think of every detail and be as accommodating as possible. Andrés, my husband, spent over 10 years in upper management in hospitality in New York City and ran the concierge department at the beautiful Hotel Emma in San Antonio, TX the last two years. I grew up in Texas and know of some of the best places to eat, shop, swim, and relax in the area. I love designing spaces, creating unique events, and curating unforgettable experiences.
