Situated 100 m from S.Spirito square, comfortable and nice flat with one big bedroom, king size bed, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Completely restructured, with washing machine, pc, internet, tv, dvd reader and heaters. The staple is the little and pretty terrace on the internal court. The kitchen is entirely available and well-appointed.
The flat is in a strategic point, a few steps from the most importants turistics sites, famously served by public transports, 15 minutes walking from the central railway station S.M. Novella; in a few meters you can find anything you need, there's 2-3 little supermarket far at all and a big one about 10-15 minutes walking, many little shops and restaurants and every morning there's an outdoor market in S.Spirito square.
Since, as notorious, Florence is a big Reinassance protagonist, the historic center is mostly composed of ancient buildings (like ours place, built at the end of 1400), that's why, as for the majority of this buildings, there's no elevator and the flat is on the 4th floor...a way to be in fine form! :)
Despite you're in the center of the city, full of restaurants, pubs, bars, clubs, the place is very silent.
It's a real experience in the heart of Florence's most genuine quarter.

Great apartment located very centrally. Everything we wanted to do was less than a 15 minute walk. The apartment was clean, quiet and full of character. The private terrace was nice as well. Ideally the apartment is for 2-3 people (one king size bed and 1 single sized futon). I would strongly recommend staying here if you plan on visiting Florence!
We loved the flat and all the amazing recommendations. Staying in this area keeps things feeling relatively local, while still close to all the sights and sounds. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
The walk up several flights of stairs was well worth it for the lovely apartment and rooftop patio. The location was a short walk from the Duomo and the Uffizi but far enough away to be in a quiet neighborhood. Gaia was most helpful in guiding us to the police to investigate money stolen in Venice. The kitchen was well stocked with all necessities. We certainly recommend this large, comfortable apartment.
This place put us in old town Florence without being stuck in the tourist only crowd. It's an easy walk to anywhere we wanted to go. Victor and Gaia were great with setting up the flat and helping us enjoy Florence. The kitchen was ready with everything we needed (even a few bottles of wine and water ).
They gave us good recommendations for nearby restaurants and let us use their computer and printer.
This will be my home base every time I vist Florence from now on.
I would recommend this place to friends and family. I would happily stay here again!
Victor & Gaia are warm, welcoming and interesting people who go above and beyond the expectations of a host. They responded promptly to my questions while I stayed in their apartment and were happy to offer recommendations and tips about everything in Florence.
The apartment was amazingly clean and a wardrobe and dresser had been cleared for me to use. It is on a quiet street (except some road construction nearby) close to many of the things you'll want to visit—but away from the thick of the tourist traffic. The terrace was the perfect place to relax on a sunny afternoon. And though there is no A/C, the apartment remained cool throughout the 28 degree weather because of windows, tiled floors, shade and a fan.
Note: The apartment is up 4 flights of stairs.
Victor and Gaia were lovely hosts. They gave us all sorts of suggestions for where to eat or visit. We were on the other side of the main tourist spots but nothing was too far away - we walked everywhere. The apartment was spacious with a large bedroom and plenty of living space - it is on the 4th floor so be prepared to heave your suitcase up the stairs, but its in a very safe area. The front door key was quirky but, unlike me, my husband managed it straight away. A very convenient apartment for anyone's visit to Florence.
This place is great. The pictures are 100% legit. The apt is very large, has a nice kitchen, king size bed and a great little patio to hang out on. Also you cant beat the location. Its near great restaurants and bars, plus you can walk to just about any major tourist attraction in under 15 mins. I highly recommend this apt, The hosts are very nice and responsive.
Wonderful apartment, very atmospheric! The location was perfect, with a lovely roof terrace. Just a short 10 minute walk to the centre and lovely views of the church at Santo Spirito.
The only negatives were - the shower, after following the instructions it still failed to work properly and the bed was a bit too firm for our liking.
My husband and I stayed at Victor and Gaia's place a few weeks ago while we were in Florence. The apartment was perfectly situated on a quiet residential street. We didn't get to meet Victor or Gaia, but met their friend Benedetta instead. She was very helpful and gave us some great recommendations for dining and other travel tips.
The apartment was very spacious and larger than we expected. I booked the apartment with out realizing that we would have to lug our bags up 4 floors - so be aware of that. The lock on the apartment was a bit tricky. Benedetta stayed with us until we figured it out but we had some issues at night, especially in the dark stairwell!
I would recommend this flat as the location was perfect and walking distance to the station and major sites.
Very beautiful, comfortable and spacious apartment. The friendly and welcoming hosts. The apartment is in the center, but no crowds of tourists, very friendly and nice quarter.
