We reserved Unit 2B at 16 Chester St for 6 weeks in the summer to accommodate family members who were coming for an extended visit. The apartment was very well maintained – exactly as advertised – and the location is great for people who want to be based in Davis/Porter for visiting Somerville, Cambridge, and Boston. Emily made sure the guests had everything necessary, including a very nice welcome packet with all the necessary information for getting around. She is very responsive to requests, including changing the dates of the reservation when our travel plans changed. I would recommend this unit in Davis and highly recommend working with Emily as a host.
This is the first time we tried airbnb. The overall experience is good. The apartment is conveniently located - within walking distance of the subway and many shops and eateries, yet the immediate vicinity of the apartment is quiet and tidy. The inside of the apartment is well kept - no luxury but everything is functional.
Emily is a responsive and friendly host, and tries to address all our concerns. The apartment is located in a very quiet area, but you can walk right into the bustles of Davis Square in 5 mins!
This studio was awesome. The location was perfect and the building was very quiet. The kitchen had many of the comforts of home and I was very comfortable there. A side note the AC was not yet installed for the year but with the fans everything was ok. For my first Air b&b the experience was great and Emily was very responsive.
Emily's studio was wonderful: bright, quiet, and cozy. The apartment is very close to the red line T (subway), which makes getting around Boston very easy. (Davis Square is only two subway stops from Harvard Square). Emily was also a great host. She accepted our booking request within an hour and responded to our messages promptly. We loved staying here and would definitely stay here again.
