The space
The space is a single private apartment that also functions as an art gallery. The whole space will be yours (the gallery will not be open to the public, during your stay).
PIQUE art experience gallery hosts 6 major exhibitions a year and often many pop up exhibitions and performances in between. PIQUE strives to showcase a hearty mix of local artists to the greater Cincinnati area and artists from around the US and abroad. "Moving Transfer"
Curated by Palestinian curators, Noel Maghathe and Layan B. Transfer is a group exhibition featuring artists who showcase the passed-down connections and exhibit unique creative uses to share these aspects of their traditions still practiced today. This project focuses on the feelings and moments centered around the connection and transfer of knowledge, traditions, and culture through generations.
Your stay helps to support the art community in the Northern KY/Cincinnati OH area!
There is also a small gift shop of hand made items like art/jewelry/crafts etc by artists being exhibited and other artists connected to PIQUE (through the kitchen).
Also, We are right next door to the Empanada Box restaurant and Arnolds Bar.
Guest will self-check-in using a key-code.

Other things to note
-This is a historical area.
- We hope sleeping with the art really gives guests an opportunity to experience art in a way they never have before, in a much more immersive capacity.
** This location is in an urban environment... it is near some train tracks and next to Arnolds Bar. So it is possible that you could encounter some city noise that is out of our control. We do have a white noise machine on the nightstand near the bed for your use, and will continue to brainstorm ways to reduce urban sound!

There are many unique restaurants and bars especially on Main st and Madison and Braxton Brewery on Pike.
-The next town over, in Newport, has a movie theater and aquarium.
-Cincinnati is just a few minutes away where you can see sports teams, theater, art museums and very close to the newly developed OTR.
-There is close access to "red bikes" which you can rent.
- and if you walk across the historic Roebling Bridge... there is quick access to the Cincinnati Street car.

COVID19 UPDATE: Our listing is still open. But we have made a few changes to make things safer for everyone at this time. First, we are doing a guest self check in method with a key box, this limits exposure. However we live in the apartment above the listing, we can assist if there is a need or emergency etc. Secondly, we have doubled our cleaning efforts and completely wash and sanitize the apartment after each stay. This is very serious for us and our guests. Please let us know if there is any questions at this time.
