Rent an extremely charming two-bedroom apartment in Cobble Hill.
The apartment is very comfortable and beautifully furnished. It includes a large open kitchen, living room (with skylights), and light-filled bathroom, all with high ceilings, big windows, attractive furniture, and standard amenities (including a high-speed wireless internet connection). The kitchen and bathroom have tile floors, while the rest of the rooms have recently refinished wood floors.
The bedrooms are clean and cozy. One bedroom overlooks a green backyard, gets lots of sun, and—if the temperature is right for opening the windows—a lovely breeze. It has a queen-size bed, a dresser (with at least one drawer available for your use), and a small desk. There's a private door to the bathroom and a closet just outside of it. The other bedroom overlooks a tree-filled street; it has a full-size bed, a dresser, a television and Blu-Ray player, and a spacious closet.
The apartment is on the top floor of a three-floor townhouse on a quiet, tree-filled block. It's a five-minute walk to the F/G subway line (equidistant to the Bergen and Carroll stops) and a ten-minute walk to several other lines (A/C, 2/3, 4/5). One block from the delightful Smith Street, which is full of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, grocery stores, clothing boutiques, and everything else you could want during your stay. There's even a farmer's market on Saturdays just five blocks away.
Anne's apartment really was the perfect place for my boyfriend, my friend and I to stay in Brooklyn. There was plenty of space for the 3 of us to relax, with comfy beds, great decor and an amazing collection of books.
The place was spotlessly clean and always warm and welcoming after we returned from long days out sightseeing in the January cold.
Anne is a great host. All the arrangements were easy and all our questions were answered in quick time. The apartment is located near lovely restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques and is an easy walk from the subway. We can't recommend Anne's place highly enough- don't hesitate to book for a great value and memorable stay in Brooklyn!
This is my first experience with Airbnb, and Anne's place couldn't have worked out better. Clean, modern, and comfortable and the location is very easy to get in and out of the city. Anne was quick to reply on the reservation, and was a great host by giving us subway passes as well. Next time I make my way out east, would be happy to stay here again.
The reservation was canceled 17 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
My boyfriend and I were first time Airbnb-ers, and Anne's apartment was everything we could have wanted for our first experience - cute, clean, and in a fantastic location. The apartment is in a great Brooklyn neighborhood close to dozens of interesting, independent restaurants and stores, and other areas of the city are easily accessible via the various subway lines found in close proximity. Anne was a gracious and accommodating host: easy to get in contact with and quick to respond to text messages. I would definitely recommend her as a host.
Anne is a great host with a lovely apartment in a very charming area of Brooklyn. Definitely a great base to explore the City.
