Paul and Saskia were so nice and welcoming! We spent one night there and everything was perfect. The house is really nice (exactly as shown in the pictures) and clean. The bed was very comfortable and there were towels, shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. Paul and Saskia offered us tea, hot chocolate and even put some homemade brownies in our room! They gave us good advice about places to visit and nice restaurants to try in Philly and they even gave us a ride to downtown. The neighborhood is just perfect : it is beautiful with nice little houses, the street is quiet even though it is only two minutes from restaurants, bars, the supermarket and the pharmacy.
The two cats are really cute and friendly!
We definitely recommend this place for a perfect stay in Philadelphia!
Paul and his wife were so kind that my wife and I really enjoyed the time. We were highly satisfied with their kindness and friendliness. I hope to visit Philly and stay at Paul's again.
Paul was a very accommodating host. He offered great amenities and suggestions for a first visit to Philly. One thing that was very helpful was the available parking nearby his house. The location is good; there are many good local restaurants and bars.
Paul and his wife were super nice. They offered us to use their kitchen and fridge inc. toast, eggs, tea, etc. The house is nice and clean, our private room with on-suite bathroom had just been updated and we were the first to move in. I can totally recommend staying with Paul.
Paul & Saskia were lovely hosts. We were grateful that they were able to provide late notice accommodation in a quiet & welcoming environment. We also appreciated a reasonably priced, clean, and private space in a convenient location.
Their cats are funny & sweet to visitors and have freedom to roam the house. Fun for us, but if you aren't a cat person this might not be a good fit.
They offered thoughtful simple amenities like hot tea & hot chocolate, space in the fridge, and bath towels.
We also enjoyed the Sidecar restaurant 2 blocks away with great happy hour/late night specials and a lively diverse crowd.
Paul and his wife are quite nice and the house is located in a beautiful and safe place in center city of Philadelphia. I just relocated to Philly. Before I could move my own apartment, I lived at Paul’s home for 5 days and I really enjoy the time. The utilities are convenient and Paul invited me to join their dinner many times. They are quite good at cooking. In addition, their cats are cute and clean. I could play with them a lot. Please enjoy it!
Paul was a welcoming host who made all the arrangements very straightforward and the location is great for upenn travel. The bed is comfortable and warm. Very friendly cats!
I am a very easy going and laid back kind of guy. I love to meet people from all over the world and learn different kind of culture. I hope you will enjoy the stay with us.
I'm a huge football (soccer in the US) fan, and if you love football we will have a lot of topics.
